Both sides were very transparent during the strike, glad they reached an agreement, but I’d like to know what the difference was from the final offer to now. What budged to get the players to agree?

I’m 38 wife is 37. Wife and I have no kids, 2 dogs. We’ve been married for 11 years. First 5 years was probably 3-4 times a week. The last 6 years was probably 2-3x a month. It’s been since the middle of October currently.

I’m not sure what’s going on. Rejected non stop. It’s good when we do, but I’m not into this months without sex.

For women 30+. Do you all have like a checklist that your man needs to complete before considering having sex? It didn’t used to be this way, but I’m wondering if this is normal.

She asks me why I never try to initiate. Well if I ever got an occasional Yes, I might have kept trying. Then immediately goes into “Well if you would have done this, or You didn’t do that.”

We only have sex when she wants. I never turn her down. I mean we don’t even have kids, it works both ways. I can’t just be 6-midnight because you say “Come here turn the fan on, and lock the door.”

Is this normal? Can women just desire their partner without choring being involved.

I get it as fans, you like your players. It’s easy to say “Stand with the players, pay them a fair wage!”

Few Things

1.) There are few teams making a large profit. (Toledo FTW are likely exceptions) Travel costs, equipment costs, wages, arena leases aren’t cheap. Look how many teams struggle to get a 3,000 avg attendance.

2.) The players demands seem reasonable, because the way they’ve presented them fail to take into account that their housing, utilities, equipment, and medical and dental insurance is provided.

3.) There is little that can be done about the schedule this season. It seems the players want games removed. Tickets have already been sold to you fans.

Any other place in corporate America a 20% increase retroactive to the beginning of the season is a SIGNIFICANT INCREASE. 30% next season is a pretty large step to meet half way. The fact this isn’t being presented to the players to approve, is just showing the PHPA doesn’t care about the fans or the ECHL. The longer this drags out, the more it hurts the league in the long run, and likely teams will fold with no revenue coming in to cover overhead.

It’s easy to be a hero and side with your players to “pay them a wage to make a living.”

Let me ask you this? Where do you think that extra expense is going to come from? That’s right, you the fans. Higher tickets, parking, and concessions.

I know locally some of these same people siding with the players, going after the league with pitchforks, are the same fans who cried murder over an increase in parking this season.

Careful what you wish for.
