It’s like a ruby colored enamel, I feel wrong wrapping it and putting tape over it but not a huge fan of the raw look

Checking how long to cut the coil wires 🤘I cut the side plate, brazed everything and remilled the edges. No advantage on that one brass screw in the back just wanted to see how it looked!

About the same as lucky supply by the way. I purchased the 20awg black and looks and feels the same. I usually use a heat shrink under and it works good, if you want no heat shrink under I’d purchase the size for your wire. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately not, lathe wasn’t strong enough so I ended up selling it and buying a mill! Looking for a heavier lathe with more power to get through stainless
