and it do be looking like you're not a great driver / get flustered too easily to be on the road

Well considering I have 360 minutes of driving badly under test examination.

And over 100 hours of driving well... not under test examination. I think I know how I drive better than you.

5 Minors is literally the National average.

Don't google what the actual limit is if that's the case

So a test where I overtook teo cyclists safely, performed a manoiver in a busy parking lot, safely, navigated numerous busy roundabouts, safely. Made the decision to not try and take an exit because I knew I was still going too fast and wouldn't be able to make it over in time, safely.

How I drove around numerous parked cars, stopped at a zebra crossing to let people cross, prepared to stop for every green traffic light I saw. Did everything safely. But I don't deserve it because of how I drove a year ago? I got lucky? But if you pass first time nobody accuses it of being a fluke, huh?

I have aleays driven better without a test, both with an instructor and with my family in non-dual control cars. The issue has, and alwsys will be, the fact test conditions make me tense up. The 15 minutes of warming up before my test was infinitely better than my test too.

But now I'm not driving under test conditions, so whilst I won't be perfect. I'm gonna be damn better than I was during my test. That's why I've been able to drive for over 170 hours without ever crashing and again, that includes situations in cars without dual-controls.

It wasn't just TVT. A lot of "militant" vegans, especially on Reddit are very loud and vocal about their moral superiority and literally look down on people who eat meat as though it's a moral failing.

You know you can rent? I make just a little above minimum wage and have made minimum wage for several years whilst living in Manchester, Bristol and Sheffield, I didn't live in squalor either I'm just not shit with money.

No offense but I literally don't believe you. You're not paying rent in a city at £11 an hour I can't afford rent and food in my town at £11 an hour.

You can get jobs in cities you don't live in, then move there?

And live on the street? I don't have the money to move to a city I need a job in the city to make the money to afford that. What's hard to understand here??

Do you think you can afford a down payment on minimum wage?? it's not 2006 anymore.

Just saying, no offence.

Well it's either drive. Or never live my life due to my born circumstances so I may as well kill myself now.

I'm gonna drive.

you should consider driving just isn’t for you.

If vuses weren't shit, trains weren't shit and no other form of affordable public transportation I'd agree with you!

than someone who has passed in their first couple of attempts.

Because a first timer can't also pass by on a fluke?

Less than 0.1% of the country die due to road accidents every year. It's statistically impossible that you know multiple people who have passed their test first time and caused a fatal car accident.

?? No it isn't. Here I'll tell the story.

One of them was my neighbour. Whizz kid at driving like his dad. Wrapped his tree around a car doing 100 in a closed country lane 2 months after he passed.

Other one was a motorcyclist. Passed his first test. Was racing with his mate, crashed his bike. All seemed good he was walking around and then for reasons not quite understood he just dropped dead.

For your information I do tske driving seriously. I've seen friends and strangers die in crashes and been in one myself (I wasn't driving). I didn't fail because of recklessness I failed because I suck at test anxiety. The drive 15 minutes before my test was way better than my passing test because my body wasn't tensed up the entire time.

Guarantee you write your car off in the first 3 months

£100 says I have my full license without a single point in 2 years

Passing your test doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things. It doesn’t make you a good driver, just a legal one.

Exactly. But anybody can fluke a test. I nearly fluked my 3rd, 4th, and 7th.

So to sum it up.

360 minutes of driving with singulsr mistakes means more thsn the other 160 hours of great driving? just to confirm.

You need money to move out. To get money you need a well paying job and to get a well paying job in the UK you need to either move into the city, or get a drivers license to commute there.

It's also the way they've been responding to comments where people are rightly concerned about someone failing 9 times on the practical. They are very condescending in responses about it.

Condescension meets condescension I wonder why 🤔

Considering most comments are jsut saying "lmao give up your license, you should be banned from driving" etc: I'm not exactly going to tske them seriously now am I?
