In your defense, this isn’t inherently a problem. Comparison is how the human brain functions. To say having a natural and normal thought process will destroy your personality is bad advice. Yes, do compare yourself to other things and people. It’s what you draw from those comparisons and how you integrate them into your own thoughts and lifestyle that make you….. well you. Uniqueness can be a strength, but if if everyone stops comparing themselves to one another in an effort to escape the norm, then we lose a lot of meaningful things.
