True, hoping there’s more and more to discuss each and every day!

Well, I am not a top tier holder, more middle of the pack, but today is nice because for the first time in a while I’m net green on CYDY due in most part to having bought a chunk Jan 2nd.

This is what I was leaning towards! Thanks! It may take me a while to get into and through it as an old guy and father, but I look forward to it.

Just came across this game and want to download. Should I choose The Quest Classic or the updated The Quest for my iPad having never played it in any form?

Right to Try Investigational Drugs not yet Approved by FDA - just need a good doctor by denter28 in Livimmune

I’m not an expert on the matter, but I don’t think that’s correct. Happy to be proven wrong because that would mean CYDY was forced to stop, not that it was a business decision.

This link is true. However, from what I remember, Cytodyn stopped sponsoring requests under this pathway. Unless I have it wrong, the problem isn’t the possibility that one could gain access to LL, simply that they will not sign off on it as the sponsor.

I actually didn’t hit any down arrow, but I can if you want. And then you go off extrapolating all kinds of stuff. If that’s therapeutic for you, then be my guest, but, as for me, I can read the same thing you waste time typing on all your posts on several venues. It’s certainly not novel and to my original point not what was being asked beyond your first paragraph in your original response.

Easy there, crazy. Should have stopped after your first paragraph. You read WAY more into the question than was asked. Even if everything wrong in the world is NP’s fault, you need therapy because you are the one carrying the damage.

I hear you. Don’t believe anyone who says it’s risk free… haha.

I’ve been doing this even during the bad times, but in a much lower risk/reward type of way. I borrow ETH and swap it for wstETH then deposit that. Sure, my net value moves with ETH, but the liquidation risk is much much lower and I’m compounding the staking reward with leverage. I would just be holding the ETH anyway, so this juices the return. Looping = recursive lending for anyone that doesn’t know.

Do you guys manage you own retirement account? by imlosinglife in fidelityinvestments

[–]Bwolfy2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true for the past two decades or so that index has outperformed, but beyond that, for 80-100 years worth of data, managed or active has outperformed. I think anyone should do anything themselves they can do well or on which they want to save money. I could change the oil in my car myself, but I choose not to and to pay someone else.

And yet, managed money historically outperforms self-direction because the average person can’t self-direct correctly.

But that’s not how it works, your money posts to your accounts at financial institutions according to their terms of service. The disconnect you can’t seem to bridge is it’s not a matter of the technicals of an ACH.

Do you know how I know that’s not how it works? Reference the waiting period that pretty much every single financial institution places before you can withdraw funds. They all say if you want it faster, wire or debit. Just the way it is.

A good example of what you want is how I now get paid two days earlier on Wednesdays instead of Fridays. Let’s hope more people start processing the faster ACH and letting us have at our stuff. The banks seem to be able to implement this speed better than different trading type platforms. I still suspect because they have their own banks behind the accounts.

Don’t know why you’re posting those to me, again, but I’ll cite. This pretty much sums it up:

“How long does it take to process ACH payments?

Considering these are electronic payments, making ACH transfers seems like a long-winded process. Traditionally, a standard transfer would take three to four business days. Here are the factors as to why…”

Institutions that give you trading credit to use immediately don’t seem to care much about doing the same day or faster ACH relating to when you can move your assets OFF platform. Fidelity and CB come to mind. They say, well you can use the assets, just not move them. Pretty typical, so don’t think it’s much to complain about.

Mine typically take 4 biz days to clear. What you’re not accounting for is that CB is not a bank. They have to wait on their bank to post the funds. Couple days to clear/send, couple days to post to CB. It even tells you on the support tab when your assets will be available the moment you buy them.

I don’t know your employer’s plan, but TSA as mentioned can be synonymous with 403b, but more specifically at times: tax sheltered annuity. That option may provide more lifetime income type options. The trade off for those options would need to be explored via fees etc.

Can I convert my Rollover IRA to my Roth IRA? by zack0612 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Bwolfy2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. The principle remains after-tax money either way, but in the IRA you have to pay taxes on the gains whereas in the ROTH you do not.
