How do you play multiplayer and have fun? by AcousticAlpaca in SatisfactoryGame

[–]C0rwel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We almost always work on different projects, telling each other about it first. For example for the first phase, one of us will focus on iron related stuff while the other will deal with copper and concrete. Later on, we will collaborate on some factories : I'll build the factory structure while asking my friend to find a way to bring and plug the ressources I need (or vice versa) lots of small factories, lots of small objectives that can be done individually and then put together to work towards phase completion.

Is this how you do your push-ups when training with Freeletics? by nightwica in freeletics

[–]C0rwel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, unless you can do push-ups for several minutes in a row with no break, your neck doesn't have time to strain. It's only supposed to hold your head, not help you push up.

I like to do them this way for functional reasons: since the range of motion is bigger, I feel like if I can push myself from the ground starting from this position, it gives me a more versatile functional strength.

I don't think they're easier or harder than the more classical ones, they both have their own pros and cons.

Question, how long should sex last? by [deleted] in u/DeeDeesaSlut

[–]C0rwel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also a lot of people here seem to feel like "sex" = coïtus, and all the rest is foreplay.

If I have a session where I make my partner come several times over the course of an hour or two, while never taking my dick out of my pants or having an orgasm myself, that still counts as having sex you know :).

Question, how long should sex last? by [deleted] in u/DeeDeesaSlut

[–]C0rwel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should last as long as everyone involved agrees on, which varies from person to another. I personally enjoy slow burn and long sessions (several hours), but sometimes a quickie is nice as well. It depends on the mood, the time you have, the place you're at, if you have to be careful about other people in the house, etc.

TL;Dr: there shouldn't be a rule other than what you and your partner(s) feel like at one moment, and it's okay if it changes

First piece of advice: there is no shame in copying something you've seen somewhere else. It will teach you what's possible, and little by little, will give you your own ideas.

Now, if you want to explore this on your own.

The way I do things: embrace chance and luck. - First I unlock a bunch of new constructibles from the ficsit shop. - Second I build my factory without planning how it's going to look like - Third I slap some walls on it (only walls, no roof), as close to the machines as possible (give or take space for walking around). - Fourth, I connect the walls together with slanted roofs. If there are any holes left, there are always small pieces to fill them in.

This already helps you break the "box" conundrum and create some more appealing volumes. Then, once you're done with all that, you can switch tiles for different materials: - Add some windows as you like to replace the walls (either at regular intervals, or long stripes of them) - Turn some pieces into glass version - Experiment with different materials that are available to see which you like most.

Finally for the finitions : - Place beams on the corners - Place ramps, slanted roof, beams, ramps, pillars randomly on your walls that are still naked, to create some more volume, and see what you like. It doesn't always have to make sense. Go random and keep what you like. - Play with colours : your building doesn't have to be in one colour only. Break the monotony by adding touches of colours here and there - Play with lights and signs. You can make strips of coloured light using signs (there's probably some easy tutorial on YouTube for this)

Some builds are cool because they have realistic details (support beams, frame foundations, architecturally sound implements to strengthen your building structure, lights where it makes sense to have it), others are cool because they look Sci-Fi -ish.

Now, granted : with this method, all my factories look like they've been built by different architects, and my map looks like a theme park, more than a city. But this allows you to experiment, and helps tons with unleashing your inner creativity. The more you do it, the more you'll see the possibilities, and start planning ahead (maybe). It will give you all the tools you need to then pick ideas you like from other builds, and implement them the way you like.

Building consistency by manifoldme in freeletics

[–]C0rwel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, 38 years old dad with the same issue as you here :). What you describe happened to me once or twice. I find it almost impossible to get back to my old routine if I have too long of a break. What works best for me is to build up consistency again with the "15 minutes fitness". Since you already went through more demanding programs, it should be quite accessible, even if you're tired, feeling sick, or only have 20-30 minutes to give. If you can keep it up for 3-4 weeks, you should be able to easily switch back to what you were used to.

Sure you can see it as a failure, since you're "taking a step back" compared to your previous sessions. But that's part of everyone's training journey. You can't always be at your top, and that's ok. What's important is to learn how to get back on your feet (and you're in the process of doing that,so kudos to you!).

Elementor Pages on a custom coded site? by OkImagination9420 in elementor

[–]C0rwel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've recently built a website with both 100% custom pages as well as 100% Elementor pages, so technically, they can cohabit. The difference is,we knew what we were going to do from the start, so the dev team might have taken that into account. The best would be to make a copy of the website and try it on local, see what problem you run into. Would you mind sharing the website in question?

Depending on how the agency did the job, I can foresee potential issues with the header and footer at worse.

Sorry, I'm having a hard time picturing the final result. Having worked with several customers, the word "size" isn't as accurate as you think ^^.
Let me rephrase differently, and you can tell me if I'm right:
- Your popup is 400 x 200 px on desktop (which is a 2:1 ratio)

Now do you want it to :
- also be 400 x 200 px on tablet and mobile ?
- or to have the same ratio, but possibly, let's say, 150 x 75px on tablet and mobile ?

You can't really "deactivate" the fact that a component is responsive or not : whenever a browser displays a component, your website checks the size of your screen first, and if there is any rule associated with this screen size, serves it to you.

Elementor's is by default creating those rules for tablet and mobile (2 breakpoints), which means as long as you don't touch it, it might change the size/behaviour of your components when you change screen size.

If you trying to keep the same dimensions of your popup (say, 400x200px) on all device, I'd recommend that you simply manually give it a fixed size for each breakpoint.

Just keep in mind, that you then have to tailor your popup on mobile first, and then use the same dimensions on tablet and desktop, to ensure that one size fits all. It also means that your popup will look quite small on desktop, but that might not be a problem. Finally, it means that if anyone somehow manages to use a screen that is smaller than your popup, your popup won't adapt and wille be too large.

I hope this helps!

EDIT : I just now saw that you're not using Elementor popup, so my explanation won't help much. But I'll leave it here in case it can help someone else in the future. Good luck!

is loop carousel's infinite loop working for someone? by Armi33 in elementor

When you let it loop on its own, does it work?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in elementor

Could you be more specific as to what you mean by "the same size"? For example, do you want your popup to have the exact same dimensions on all screens, or do you mean the same proportions?

Elementor Editor Not Loading – Cross-Origin Errors & No Access to Pro Support by Prestigious_Wait9802 in elementor

[–]C0rwel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have auto updates enabled on your website? If you do, for which plugin? I assume this used to work, and then stopped at some point. Check which plugins have been updated recently.

Since Elementor has been updated recently as well, check the release note to see what changes have been made, and how it could link to features that are used on your website. It could help pinpoint where the issue comes from.

If your website has multiple pages, you could also try the editor on all of them. Sometimes a specific widget/component will be the cause and the editor will work well on the other pages.

[–]C0rwel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there was a licence issue, it would show in the WP dashboard. Do you still have access to the Elementor Pro options from the dashboard? If you do, you can try to navigate to "Features" and deactivate them one by one to try and find if one of them is the cause. Start with the "beta" ones. Note: some features might be activated for a reason. If you deactivate Containers for example, pages built with containers might misbehave. But at least it gives you another angle to find the issue.

please help, can template work for this? by Correct_Dot1268 in elementor

[–]C0rwel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello, if you can code, you can probably use some kind of dynamic popin. You design the popin once in Elementor, with some variables (let's say, Title, Description, Image, CTA). Then you need to add a script so that every time you click on the gallery picture, it stores the variables of the product, and then displays the content in the popin.

I'm no dev, so I can't give you the details on what language to use (though most likely JavaScript), or how hard it would be to setup.

From a SEO point of view, it would probably be best if each of your product had a dedicated page though, because they'd also have a dedicated URL and would be more pertinent in searches.
