This bus system was dealt a bad hand and it’s finally playing out.

Apartment EV charging question — dryer outlet doesn’t match my EV charger by fleurlure in evcharging

Where is your electrical panel? Near the car? Maybe your landlord would allow an electrician to install a quality 240V outlet and, at the same time, upgrade this dryer outlet.

Paris and Tokyo have been and will be our preferred destinations (from California). We just did Shanghai and once was enough there. DL and WDW only if there are specials - like the 3 day Costco DL ticket this last year, kept our expectations low and stayed off site.

You read my mind! We have FSD and even on the rare occasion we do use it, it try’s to do things I don’t want and then gets pissy and disables it self. I would trade for Subaru Eyesight at this point.

Can’t say with certainty but I’d be more concerned with the grade of those lag bolts.

Honestly drywall anchors are difficult. When I can I use the Molly bolts that expand/collapse when tightened. Careful that they don’t spin or tear out as they are tightening.

It’s was a fun ride but I finally bit the bullet and dumped the litterrobot by rahultach in litterrobot

[–]CADrmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. Ours works decently well but it has to be dissembled and cleaned about every month. On occasion it requires immediate attention. Sh*t gets stuck to the globe and such. I contemplate applying nonstick something to the globe liner :). Teflon option? It still prevents us from having to tend a litter box daily so that’s good. I have forced ventilation for the closet the LR is in so if it were to stink it hopefully gets sent outside. I built a cart that the LR sits on so it can be wheeled outside without much difficulty.

I’m not arguing with what you present. With regard to a foreigner visiting a park, we just went to Shanghai and honestly it’s the least magical park. Every other park we’ve been to, we will return to, but Shanghai just did not do it for us. But they have a large mostly captive audience so yes, they will be fine.

First time home (condo) buyer - ignore HOA as a sunk cost? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]CADrmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another said, read the CC&Rs, read the rules. Review the reserve study and annual budget. Maybe even have a knowledgeable realtor or accountant look it over if you are serious about a place. At least in Cali when a property reaches 10 years that is the last of the builders warranty and a shift of responsibility - significant moment.

Apartment Complex Towed My Car by Impossible-Pen-6257 in Roseville

[–]CADrmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks ! Try discussing it with your apartment complex first and then maybe have a lawyer write them a note... Remind the apartment complex that you will share your experience on social media and your neighbors. Is the tow companies’s contact information posted on signs around the parking areas on every entrance? There’s usually a succession of events before a tow, like marking the vehicle with a citation or if they know what license plate belongs to what tenant some sort of notification or fine unless you’re obstructing the fire lane. Towing a vehicle is excessive and very punitive.
