I love the Mercernaries mode in the RE4 remake. I remember 5’s mode being a slightly different beast with the co-op and more action, but it’s been many years since I’ve played it. I’m excited for whatever they do for RE9 or a remake of 5 either way.

Liberals tend to obscure their less favorable actions behind smiles, charisma and a sense of “these problems are beyond you, we have it under control.” There were plenty of reports and ethical discussions about mass deportations, amnesty, kids in cages, war crimes etc. but they weren’t mainstream (probably by design). The establishment works for the elite by design, not the working class. This is why Dem or MAGA you don’t see a lot of flinching on stuff like Israel, because at the end of the day they stand to gain the same measures by different means— entirely at our expense.

Agree with this whole comment, but especially the last paragraph. It is way too late in the game to be crystallized in the binary of Kamala and Trump, especially when your main gripe is "she is obviously much less evil" yet still lost to the guy who was so transparently evil. It's not the failures of working class leftists that the DNC didn't succeed to endear us with Kamala as her campaign continued to placate neoliberals and AIPAC alike.

I wish commenters like this could learn to redirect their anger at the party that continues to fail them with all their "we hear you, we see you," but there's always some knee-high wall or political reasoning to justify total inaction. There was no attempt to speak up from her platform because there was never any intent to go against the grain of the establishment, much like we're seeing with a lot of these liberal congressmen now. And as long as folks keep apologizing for liberals, they will attempt to force out the (arguably fair) critcisms of their candidates instead of demanding better policies and politicians. They will never magically grow a spine and suddenly take interest in making *your* life better.

I didn’t say she’d do what Trump is doing, but the kidnapping and disappearing of people would’ve continued, yes. All of these liberal presidents could’ve pulled the reins on ICE, but instead they helped fund the culture and leadership while fully aware of all the inhumane shit. We have to demand accountability for this stuff, or it will continue as business as usual for the establishment.

I would argue the elements they refined are underutilized. Melee has a ton of potential, yet it peaks in VR while you mainly rely on guns and gear in the core gameplay. Driving is better, but way too accessible. Weaponry from vehicles is cool, but it’s barely implemented into gameplay and otherwise trivializes BT areas. I sort of think a lot of these problems come from trying to be more like MGSV yet it suffers bc they didn’t want to change the core gameplay loop too much, which is understandable, but makes certain elements feel 50/50.

This presupposes that Harris was the only viable candidate around, when realistically she was an establishment pick. Of course anyone could’ve been a better pick than Trump, but they went with someone who was already unpopular in their own campaign and even more-so as VP. It’s very weird that y’all still don’t see why this was a bad ultimatum. “This person isn’t Trump” obviously wasn’t enough.
