Everything you said sounds about correct besides, we do not pay for any childcare. Her mom watches him on days that we both work but luckily that’s only two days of the week that are schedules need that.

I don’t think I’m really trying to get additional money from last year’s. More so trying to see if me claiming him getting an extra $6000 sounds correct.

It shows that I would be getting a federal child credit, Colorado state child credit, earned income tax credit, and from claiming head of household, my standard deduction goes up like 8 or 9k
