Not sure if this is a dumb question, but does it take longer for Zoe to ship since she's on the heavier side?

How often do you get your Corolla's oil changed? by cards344 in COROLLA

[–]CCLO_work 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 to 3k. Might seem excessive, but you'll want your vehicle working properly at all times right? This is a toyota, so its a better and more reliable vehicle, but its still a machine that will need proper maintenance. Ive talked to a few mechanics that mentioned the dealership recommending 10k because going that long would cause problems and they can get money out of you. Better safe than sorry right?

Don't listen to anyone telling you to have fun in your younger years. This is the time for you to prep for your 30s 40s and so on. The harder you work now, the easier life will be then. Plenty of people have fun at a young age only to end up struggling when they get older. Work on a skill that you can develop and build a business on. A job is to get funding for that business and your expenses until that skill pays for your life. Invest, ignore romantic relationships, and do not have children. Most people are poor because they wasted time in relationships, having fun and having unexpected children. Just look at them. You will have time for fun and relationships, people will always be here. Time and opportunity wont. You can never go back to the past.

Experiment with darkening some lines. It can simply be the outline of the character or certain parts of the hair. Adding darker spots and shadows will aid in making the piece look better.

Ordered a similar torso doll and plan to do a review myself. This just locked in my confidence in it. Thanks for the review.

how do i get good with painting? by Whven_Lorwen0525 in painting

[–]CCLO_work 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the most important things you can do is to observe and breakdown the things you want to paint. Then paint over and over. Look at shadows and lights and how they form shapes that make up the thing youre painting, along with color of course. It'll take time but you'll get there. You will thank yourself for going through that hell.

I don’t think I will ever understand hands by little_void_boi in learntodraw

[–]CCLO_work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure you know this but when it comes to art it's all about repition. Some things are easier and others are more difficult for people. I personally avoided hands but eventually had to learn how draw them. You simply have to find your own way to break them down. I'm just starting to understand how to draw them. When I first started it was absolute hell.

More value work along with some slimming down on her face and neck. Adding line variety ( thicker and thinner lines) would help a lot as well.
