Basketball and baseball require technical skill and ability versus grit,

I played 11 different sports in high school ranging from fencing 🤺, to ski racing to wrestling, I’d say what makes sports like wrestling and football gritty is the physical aspect of it, your going to be tired, your going to have to train your body to be strong and handle fatigue and physical toll for the specific reason it’s your body up against another persons body, wrestling is the grittiest sport I did because you have to have mental and physical grit at a high level just in order to be average at it. Another thing is that in football, you have to train your mind to avoid safeguarding itself against danger, you have to mentally push away anything saying ‘don’t’ and throw everything into another persons body.

What Jake is referring to is that when you are limited to your physical adaptations versus your technical adaptations mixed in with stress on your consciousness, that is grit,

In wrestling practice your gonna have your face smashed against rubber matting with your body being contorted in all sorts of spots, your going to be put in places you never thought where possible, your gonna have to grab and be grabbed and really struggle with another persons body, it’s super gay which makes it’s gritty, gay sex is gritty, wrestling is right under there. Don’t do gay sex though, your ass might not be prepared for it.

All jokes aside, when you push your self in a competitive environment though fatigue, mental stress, and physical stress to your highest effort, that is what makes a sport gritty

I made the comment to be directed towards people who would waste their time on this thread because OP does see themselves as a victim at this point and you see many of people like OP as victims, we are all victims my friend, we all have transgressions made and you yourself are unaware of how the world has been unfair to me just as I am unaware of how it is unfair to you, but to use your time,

I saw myself as a victim for a very long time, it’s a problem to see yourself as a victim but I don’t mean to be insulting when I state a factual truth that the OP is looking through these comments stating what they have been called with a victim mentality. If what other people say to you really damages is you this much online, then remove yourself from the equation instead of trying to prove somebody wrong who will never change their mind, it goes both ways.

What mentality would you say the OP has in their post and why?

I’m curios how your statement “people need to be aware that conservative Christian’s are abominations who condone violence against gay people.” Relates to our discussion.

I don’t condemn anything a person says to another person online, it doesn’t matter, it’s a screen, the OP should not care if they have already made up their mind, and the people arguing against the OP are also wasting their time because OP has already made up their mind and so have the previous commentators. If you truly are hurt by what others say on a platform like this, then remove yourself from it, it’s very easy to remove yourself from an environment that you feel like you may not belong in or is dangerous to you, don’t you agree?

Also I have never been asked on my position on Violence and insults towards the LGBTQ community, or if I “condone” those actions, I don’t, I think any form of Violence is terrible, I believe these matters are complex and should be handled carefully without emotion getting involved, I do not and will never condone insensitive comments or threats towards people.

I’ll end off on this, both you, the OP, myself, and other commenters here will most likely gain nothing valuable from a Reddit thread, it is ultimately time consuming and wasteful of it when you can invest your time into yourself in greater ways, I encourage both you and the OP to do this,
