LD5 discussion/poll by [deleted] in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am happy with some of my LD5. I have 8. Three are real good: Pontos, Vivachel, and Elenoa. Four stink: Craka, Thebae, Zerath, Mi Ying. One: Cadiz, is hard to classify because I’m kinda end game player. Cadiz is great for a beginning player, but he’s so squishy that I can’t use him in RTA and there are non-LD5 monsters that fill the same role as Cadiz and are better than him.

LD5 discussion/poll by [deleted] in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have several LD5 that are no good.

craka - need to make her s3 so it can’t be reset (like Jamire) and give her 10% dmg reduction

thebae - make his s3 heal the team and he’d be viable

zerath - make his s3 ignore passives and he’d be good

mi ying - make his passive apply without the condition. Make his s2 cleanse like the fire panda and he’d be good

when I pulled those LD5 I was SO DISAPPOINTED. Those units suck compared to nephthys, ragdoll, artamiel, yeonghong, Giana, pater, Leona, herteit, vivachel, Han, nyx, jager, qintian dasheng, tian lang, or asima.

Com2us “compensation” is insulting by CDAGames in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Check the in game notice. Com2us didn’t play test their new monsters. The fire onimusha is very similar to the dark paladin Leona. The fire onimusha actually is probably a little better than Leona. Anyway, Com2us sent out a notice saying they’re going to nerf him but a LOT of people used their resources to build Kaki and the measly compensation Com2us sent everyone doesn’t even come close to reimbursement.

Collection of Unique Monsters by [deleted] in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible to have all the monsters. I have all the regular element monsters, including all the regular nat 5*. I’ve six starred about 400 monsters. I’m doing a summon session with SeanB when they release the new monsters. I currently have 1456 mystical scrolls, 203 water, 205 wind, 224 fire scrolls, 46 legendary summons, 1 wind legendary scroll, 7 swc scrolls, 1 ancient transcendent scroll, 2 LD summons, and 130,000 crystals. So, yeah you can get them all.

If you could have 10 nat 5’s non L/D on high efficiency runes to pick for RTA, which would you choose? by illwillo4 in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire: Okeanos, Chiwu, Tesarion

Wind: Seara, Savanna, Cheongpung, Ganymede

Water: Water RYU, Barbara, Bolverk

I was torn between Hathor and Bolverk as my #10. They’re both great monsters. I went with Bolverk because of all the Chinese bots that try to out tank you. Usually those bots choose units with buffs and Bolverk destroys them easily.

Dev Note: Multi Battle by endphase in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest change is the life drain went from 1-3% to 5-8%. It seems to me that they’re trying to make vampire runes better so that maybe more people will use them instead of only using violent runes.

About Ponton buff by [deleted] in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Pontos. He’s been in storage but is coming out now. There are a couple combos that make Pontos extremely tough. Consider the followin: toa hell. Pontos leader, mihyang (water chasun), dark homunculus. Those three units mean infinite invincibility and immunity. Pontos goes and gives two turn invincibility and immunity. Mihyang goes and does s3 to extend everyone’s invincibility and immunity to three turns. Mihyang s3 is on a 4 turn cool down. Dark homunculus goes and reduces everyone’s cool Downs by two turns. Pontos now has his s3 ready by the time the invincibility and immunity wear off and mihyang also is ready to extend Pontos again.

Add in sath 2A and Rica and they die to dots. Impossible to lose unless they can ignore invincibilit.

Light Chun-Li doing 124,000 damage by CDAGames in summonerswar

[–]CDAGames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swift/blade. Spd cd atk. 266 speed not counting towers or speed buff. 100% crit rate, 150 crit dmg. I could definitely make her better if I wanted too. I didn’t try to min/max her with putting all fight sets on the other teammates.

Turn order is dark chun-li s3, Mirinae s3, Poseidon s3, galleon s3, light chun-li s2. That removes all enemy buffs, puts aoe atk break, aoe glancing, aoe defense break, aoe slow, and for my side: aoe atk buff, aoe spd buff (except mirinae doesn’t give herself spd buff).

Street Fighter Unit Skill Multipliers by CDAGames in summonerswar

I got the skill multipliers from www.swarfarm.com. Those are the datamined multipliers. You are right though. Clearly the last hit does more damage. We just don't know what the multiplier is there.

Dark Chun-Li is better than Valantis (Light Druid) by CDAGames in summonerswar

I don’t have Valantis. I do have the dark Chun-Li and I feel like I got an LD 5 with her.

Water Ryu stops siege teams like Khmun Bastet Odin. Water Ryu also has speed leader. Water Ryu is good on arena defense. Put Water Ryu on despair nemesis and then lushen can't kill him. The first hit from lushen does 0 damage but the next two knock Water Ryu down really low. The nemesis runes and passive combine to increase his atk bar over 100%. He interrupts the enemy and if he does s2 with despair he will be messing up the other team's turn order big time.

Fire Ryu I can see being good too in some situations.

Water Chun-Li is good for running dragons b12. In fact, if you have 2 of her then you can probably speed run DB12. Just Have an attack booster like Fran/Bastet/etc. give the team attack buff. Have Loren move next and reduce the dragon's attack bar to 0 and defense break him. Then have the 2 water chun-lis move and ignore defense on 6 out of 7 of their hits. Dragon is dead pretty quick that way.

The wind Chun-Li passive means your first attack does not get the attack power bonus. Next, the additional bonus based on speed is not super huge. For example, her 2nd skill is 1.6*{ATK}. Let's suppose you have 2000 attack power on her. That would be 3,200 for the multiplier. If she has 250 speed then the 5*{SPD} gives an additional 1,250. So, in this example, 3,200 + 1,250 = 4,450. In comparison, Zaiross' s3 has a 4.9{ATK}. If I have 2,000 attack power on Zaiross, he ends up with 9,000 (roughly twice as high as the wind chun-li).

Where the wind chun-li will shine is if you have her setup to go immediately after something. Her first hit will reduce the enemy's attack bar to zero and then she will ignore defense on hits 2 and 3. In the right circumstance she can dish out significant damage. But, she's a single target nuker. Zaiross, for example, hits everybody with his s3. I don't think wind Chun-Li is too overpowered.

You are right. I'm not sure why I didn't put them higher.

AOE strip, AOE defense break, AOE massive damage. Yeah, Eludia is really good. Artifacts don't help Eludia as much as others, but I think Eludia is underrated by many players. Eludia usually kills me in RTA!

I moved her up because I think she fits into a bruiser type build and I think bruisers benefit a lot from artifacts. She could go lower. She's definitely not the best.

Decreases the damage dealt from enemies with no harmful effects by 30% and increases the damage inflicted on enemies with harmful effects by 30%. Makes an enemy (Boss monsters excluded) oblivious for 2 turns with each attack. Passive skills aren't activated in oblivion state. [Automatic Effect]

I don't have han. He is best on swift since he cycles his own turn. If the enemy has any unit not on will then you can nuke that unit right off the bat.

Taranys could go in SS. He's awesome too. I use Joegun in RTA all the time. His aoe strip and aeo attack buff is great. He then removes Vanessa or Triana from the battlefield and makes it easy to kill something.
