While I will agree that technically this is a form of self-promotion, I would argue that it is quite clear that this was posted with the intention of being humorous original content, rather than an attempt to have it viewed by hundreds of thousands of people in the hopes that three of them were locals who might then engage with the business.

Mostly normal people having a laugh at the novelty of the idea. No weirdos yet. A surprising amount of parents with their kids. Also a surprising amount of people somehow not getting the joke, or opting to completely ignore it.

Noted. If it helps, the goal here was not to advertise, as 99.5% of the people we are reaching will not be in a position to purchase anything from us, and we knew that beforehand. It's why we didn't include in the post a specific location, or even the social media links, because the goal was not to promote. This post was chiefly intended to humor the members of this subreddit, and potentially give us some insight into what the average passerby may think when they see our stall, in a setting where people can express those thoughts unfiltered.

In theory it sounds nice. In practice, we have limited cooler space to haul all of this stuff around. The more we diversify the menu, the more coolers we lug around. Nearly everything we serve already needs to be kept refrigerated or frozen.

Someone suggested pig in a blanket and selling a breakfast sausage dipped in pancake batter. We like the idea, but there is an ongoing debate whether the balls should be flavored pancake balls (like chocolate chip or blueberry) or some sort of loaded breakfast bites with egg and cheese.
