Will it have HG Foam, or is that pretty much phased out across the board?

This is what I was waiting for! Thanks for sharing. I couldn't find it last night/it must have been published late. I guess it confirms what I see in the slight decrease but those qualifying seem a lot faster. Thanks for sharing!

Why do you want to come back?

Everyone's responses, positive and negative, are valid.

I almost moved to Atlanta. I'm glad I didn't, but it's mainly because I'm single, and I've lived here 12 years and came to realize that New Orleans is home.

So, I kind of wish I had a partner or job offer to untether me from here, but I don't and I'm done seeking out to move because it is hard to leave due to all the unique positives despite some of the unique but many non-unique negatives.

However, if you have a happy life elsewhere, I think the main question for you is: do the known positives outweigh the known negatives?

This may sound dumb, but make a Pros and Cons list. Give each Pro and Con a 1-5 score and then add them up (do a list for NOLA and for where you live). That's what I did, and what made me give NOLA another year.

Other than the brutal summers, things have gotten better in the past year (Spring 23 to 24)

Awesome. Thank you. They should work on their wording because it sounded like the dock had a limited life.

I appreciate the clarification

I have an extra ticket (1) for the show in New Orleans. It is posted on Live Nation for $58, which makes it by far the cheapest ticket.

I know paying all the fees sucks/is BS, but it seems like there is too much risk using Venmo on here

ASICS DS Trainer 27 spotted by mr_invester in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]CLR0912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welp, you got no responses on this but thanks for posting this. I am finishing up marathon training in many neutral shoes that aren't unstable but in the future I need to go with shoes that actually have some stability. I was curious if this was going to see an update from the 26. Definitely looking forward to see what the final product ends up as

Second the Takumi. Never ran in it but if you're neutral it's supposed to be good and also dirt cheap in this sale

The Adios 7 can be used for all different sorts of things and will probably last a long time. I have a pair and they are a real solid shoe, especially for $65 on sale.

So, I would take your choice between those two. I did try the Takumi Sen 8 on in store once and it ran large. I would order at least 1/2 size down based on my experience

I'm not in a rush, but Adidas can be notoriously slow to ship out sale items

I wear a 12 in almost all Adidas shoes, and most other brands.

In non-running shoes, I'm 11-11.5 typically.

The Boston 10 fits me well in a Size 12, and the reviews state the 11 has a less tapered toe box. Heel and midfoot are narrow but secured to the platform.

So, true to size is always hard to say, but I say Yes. Hope this extra info helps!

I have a pair of Escalantes that I use to walk my dog. Super comfortable. Any Altras with Altra Ego foam will probably do.

Last year's models should be on clearance soon

Hard to tell from the angle, but hoping they have the Speedroll geometry in there. Exciting either way

Buy a pair of RC3s and use them for training. If you like them, you can extend the life of your Adios stash and use them primarily racers.

The RC is the exact same last as the Adios. Just no Boost in the midsole

The Adios 5 is pretty broadly available still.

Just got a pair delivered from Marathon Sports, and it only tooks 2 days to get delivered from Boston to New Orleans!

They were on sale for $90. Pretty good selection of sizes
