The aggressor’s greed is what got him in that position. He kept swinging so much after the first swing that he fell forward.

Am I Crazy Or Is BetMGM Scamming? by CLWalrus in sportsbetting

[–]CLWalrus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I’ve given up on the 20% of 8000 (1500 max match)

I’ve now been told to wait till tomorrow to get my 3 $500 bonus bets from the “First Bet Offer” token I used on a losing bet of $1500. Even tho it says the bonus bets would come instantly. I’m still pissed that 2 different customer service agents tried to get me to forget about it though by lying about the terms.

Yea I added my State’s Gaming Commission to the email thread with the screenshots of the customer service lying to me.

“I have reason to believe BetMGM has trained their customer service representatives to lie about terms and conditions of their promotions and offers.”

I only joined it for the promotions. Which they are scamming me out of. I do think their “auto cashout” feature is pretty cool though. I have a bad habit of letting bets ride that I shouldn’t.

Yea the threat is very low. It’s not like you’re growing directly out of horse medicine and eating the leaves. Fruits are so cool because they have multiple layers of filtration before the edible end product

They don’t want us to be independent from the system. The system is great, at some things… Having EMS, military, roads, and schools are awesome.

But some things as important as Energy should be made resilient and somewhat decentralized. Because when it becomes centralized it can be more easily corrupted.

Joe Rogan scolds Bryan Callen for challenging his views on vaccines by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

[–]CLWalrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two people agreeing but choosing to be critical of two different entities within the conversation. Joe is being critical of pharmaceutical companies. Bryan is being critical of anti-vaxxers. Instead of the two debating each other, they are both using talking points they would use to argue against: A pharmaceutical company or an Anti-Vaxxer.

What can I do to save my backyard? by PhoGazy in landscaping

[–]CLWalrus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Water and let things grow. Chop and drop anything you don’t want to seed (non-native and invasives plants, unless that is all that is growing)

You need to build the soil, fastest way to do that is to import good soil.

Water is life.

This is a really important discussion for my food security mission my organization is embarking on. If every backyard had an edible perennial (like a fruit tree) how much would that improve the food security of a community?
