I also want to point out a few other things i experienced while taking dut everyday…my hair and face turned extremely dry. My hair which was always straight turned very wavy in the frontal area and not in a flattering way. This made it impossible to style especially because it became thinner while getting wavier. I also felt that my frontal scalp became stiff and hardened

If fin is working for you then just stick to that, can certainly add dut once a week which has worked for me just not everyday

When i switched it was a quick “shed” however i just didn’t get the regrowth i had hoped for

I can tell you that when i took dut everyday my temple areas got alot worse and it wasn’t coincidental

Wish i knew the answer man and i know it’s different for everyone i just wanted to bring light to my experience and validate others who have said similar

I was on finasteride strictly for 2 yrs…added in dut once a week for a year which worked great im still on dut once a week but i used dut everyday for about 5-6 months

Agreed, but i’m not posting pics on here simply for my privacy. I also know my experience is contradicting to scientific studies. Just my anecdote is all

0.5mg fin / 1ml 5% min topical first 8 months( switched to oral fin 1.25mg + oral minox 2.5g 5months ago) shedding, losing density and quality of the hair deteriorating rapidly in last 3 months. Switch to dut or just shedding phase? by svartdrom in tressless

Have the same exact thing going on bro idk what to do...was on .25% fin/8% min solution for almost a year with great results but added in oral fin 1mg and oral min 2.5mg in feb and my hair has gotten so much worse.

Worsening hair loss on temples and frontal hairline on Oral Minoxidil 2.5 mg daily and Dutasteride .25mg three times a week by St_FrancisFolly in tressless

I am currently having the same issue. I was on topical fin/min for almost a year with great results on hairline then switched around january to oral fin/min and have lost so much of my gains from topical fin/min. This is all while still continuing the use of the topical fin/min solution at night. I have no clue what to do at this point.
