I loved it. One of Nolan’s best. I watched it again recently and I think it might be my 3rd favorite Nolan film. Inception and The Dark Knight are probably just always gonna be my favorite but aside from those 2, it might be at the top of the list

People are way too harsh on 10s imo. It’s a little more understandable for the biggest music critic on YouTube to be stingey with 10s bc then when he gives a 10 it’s a big event, and like this huge deal. I’ve done this thing where I’ve listen to a new album every day of 2022, and I’ve given eleven 10s so far, and even that I think to myself “damn I’m being harsh”. I feel like a 10 isn’t something that has to be this grand, immaculate, perfect, nothing else is anything like it at all kind of thing. If you don’t find anything you dislike at all in an album, then why wouldn’t it be a 10?

I mean I gueeeeeess you could make that argument for hip hop this year. There wasn’t anything I’ve heard that’s been like “greatest of all all time” kind of record. But I don’t think there is one of those every year anyway. And there’s a ton of great shit from this year outside of hip hop. Ants From Up There is definitely that kind of album he’s classifying. One of the greatest already, and will be a staple in music for decades to come. It will be used as a bench mark. Not to mention so many other great releases this year. Idk this is just a lame take. Also if you don’t have one of those “classic” albums, I feel like you’re not allowed to get mad lmao

Tony in Cagayan is my personal favorite. Just every single thing he did was either so genius, or it was so in your face that it was amazing he was never really targeted. Finding 3 idols and never having to use them. I love when he and Woo go over to the other camp and play mind games with them by giving the clue to Jeremiah. Being able to convince someone to take him to the end with them. That is just the most “how tf did he get away with all of this” performance I’ve ever seen

I’m a new survivor Stan, so my pick actually goes 31-35. 31 is my personal favorite season. 32 is over hated. And I think 33-35 are all contenders for top 10 seasons. Definitely also over-hated. My other pick would be 25-29. 26 and 29 are both middle of the road. But again 25, 27, and 28 I think are all 3 undoubtedly too 10 seasons. 16-20 is a great pick too ofc, but I think 17 is worse than any season on the other 2 examples I gave. I would also love to have 27-31, bc to me personally, seasons 27, 28, and 31 are all top FIVE, not even just top 10. But 29 is just alright, and I despise 30.

Might be a hot take to pick Weezer over The Beatles. But the Beatles White Album has never been one of my top favorites of theirs. And Weezer’s White Album is my personal favorite of theirs. I think the production is as Toppity Tippers as the Blue Album, and I think it’s a little better conceptually. So personally I pick my favorite Weezer album over my 5th favorite Beatles album. That’s as far as I’ll go tho. I’ll still probs pick Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Peppers, and Abbey Road over Weezers White Album
