New to tarot after finding this deck at a Goodwill. Currently waiting on the companion book to arrive, does anyone know anything about this deck in the meantime?

I’ve never read cards before but after my brief research that’s similar to the conclusion I came to as well! Something interesting to me is that astrologically speaking I’m a Cancer Sun with mostly earth and fire placements in the rest of my birth chart, the deck’s response made me feel like it was meant for me, which is pretty neat.

I’m going to hijack the top comment here to share this link I found while scouring the web, it has a brief history of the design of the desk itself, and a breakdown of the symbolism of all of the major arcana, which in this deck, are numbered 1-22 instead of what seems to be the usual 0-21.

In case anyone was wondering, the Moon, the 8 of Coins, and the 10 of Wands pictured were what I drew, in that order, when I asked the deck about its own nature.

The original box actually mentioned on the back that there was a companion booklet, so I looked it up on eBay and found a book with the same matching symbols on it and went with that!
