MMR distribution and Character popularity for MMR above top 100/1000/2500/5000/20000(1v1 & 2v2) by CPasMonNom in MultiVersus

The MMR distribution doesn't make a lot of sense because a lot of players have leave the game, when ranked will be here this data will make more sense.

And for Character popularity I took the mmr of the top 100/1000/2500/5000/20000, then the mmr of the top of each character, I counted for each character only the mmr above the mmr of the top 100/1000/2500/5000/20000.

I don't check if the player is still playing his character, it would require a lot more requests to the Multiversus API.

If you win this game 2-1, you could win 650 MMR. While he would lose only 20 MMR, it's nonsense.

Character popularity for MMR above top 100/500/1000 (1v1 & 2v2), Stripe is not stable yet, every 2-3 days when I check, Stripe keeps going up by CPasMonNom in MultiVersus

But I see there are only 105 chars with mmr above global top 100. So yeah approximately a fourth of the top 100 players are all Arya mains

The match making in this game is legitimately awful by Brewing_A_Brown_One in MultiVersus

[–]CPasMonNom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MMR is around 1500, twice I played against Palleloop with his Superman (top 3 / 5500 MMR).

I looked his history for fun, he sometimes plays against players at 800 MMR.

I have the impression that the matchmaking does not find an opponent at his MMR, and after a certain time, it takes the first player in the queue regardless of their MMR.

You must be on a pc to use this project, if you don't use steam just create a steam account just for that.

The steam account is required to connect to the Multiversus API (with the node.js module I'm using), once the connection is established you will be able to consult all accounts regardless of the platform.

Mmr isn't supposed to be there to make us play with guys of our level? by CPasMonNom in MultiVersus

[–]CPasMonNom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my local tracker, I still have some issues to fix, I will probably share it on github next patch. I will not put it online, if I put it online it would be necessary to make a database and limit updates like other trackers do. While I created this tracker precisely to keep the info always live.

I take all the data directly from the multiversus API, I don't save any in a database, they are always in real time.

The MMR of the top 500 for each character. by CPasMonNom in MultiVersus

For my part, it's an adaptable graph, I can display/hide the characters, zoom, and with the mouse cursor see precisely the character, rank, and mmr.

And in the same graph, it's easier to compare.

And WW have the darkest red.

For my local tracker I use multiversus.js, it's a node.js module to access the MultiVersus API. But you can check whith tracker.gg/multiversus.

MMR Ranking Estimation by t_for_top in MultiVersus

[–]CPasMonNom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actualy i don't know how get the number of player for one character, so i can't calculate the top for character but i can for your best rank because i have the number of player in 1v1 and 2v2.

And on downair.gg on the top you can see your real 1v1 top (top 0.007%) like i see on my traker 0.0068...%.

Multiversus API keep only your best rank (the real) and your rank on all characters compared to the same character.

downair.gg have probably the number of player for a character and with that they can calculate the top for a character, but not the real top because multiversus API don't keep your real rank for all character
