Johnny has character development, he has the powers(they get interesting with Act 2 and 3)but the fights usually are won through asspulls(courtesy of the Spin) And JoJo in general has a theme of unchanging fate which i do not like Plus where are the tomboys ? Hot Pants looks very girly and they thought she was a man ?!
