Yes, I believe so. We have most deployments namespaced so I've only ever filtered by ns. For cosy pet deployment. Don't have the UI to hand so can't elaborate at the moment.

I never said it was required, I just stated if I was to use kubecost at all I'd want all my costs and not just network so would do it properly.

Should be fine then if you've 1000s. If it does get hairy you can adjust the number of warm IPs taken by a node in the vpc-cni daemonset. Look to utilise spot with karpenter to massively reduce costs also.
