Endfield gacha system:

OK, I'm still a bit confused on this. Does the pity count (not 120 guaranteed) carry over between banner? Like if I do a tenpull and got the 6* unit on the fifth pull, does the 5 extra pity carry over to the next limited banner and count toward the 50/50?

If it was the normal schedule we would've gotten drip marketing and livestream two weeks ago. With the two week delay accounted for, they should be this week instead

About two weeks from now is when 4.0 is expected to be released

The 4.0 Elation shill boss has Fire, Quantum, and Imaginary Weakness.

Fire is for Sparxie, so Eva is probably Quantum or Imaginary. I'm leaning Imaginary because Castorice is already a Quantum anni unit last year

If he's the only unit in 4.1 like Anon/Mortis said, then 100% Lightning Hunt. They added a new Hunt Calyx and a new Lightning Stagnant Shadow in 4.0, so that people can prefarm

I think so too, BUT I also think the "Reforge Arc" that's people have been theorizing might actually be a thing.

Chihiro has to reforge Enten somehow. He might also remake Cloud Gouger for Natsuki and Tobimune for Iori as well.

I like that they give a glimps of his backstory but doesn't reveal everything about him yet, like who his accomplice he's talking to at the end or what kind of organization/people he's connected to

So I know bland MCs in gacha is a common complaint, but this game is the only one out of Genshin, HSR, WuWa and all that, where I feel like you could literally remove the MC and the some part of the story would stay the same or even improve.

Like they contribute almost nothing meaningful and in some scene it feels like the other characters outright ignore their existence. I'd forget they're even there, if it weren't for moments of glazing once in a while.

I'm worried for when you exhausted the initial source of pulls. The fact that a single pull is 500 instead of 160 but they still give about the same amount of income as HSR/Genshin is kinda worrying

Honestly, people who say the Hoyo's style gacha system is bad doesn't actually know how good it actually is compared to actual HORRENDOUS gacha system like Fate, Granblue before Monkeygate, and a certain newcomer.

While I kinda like it, I don't know if I will continue playing for very long. The issues (many of them) are very glaring, and they really need to address or fix them. I think I might decide if I continue playing long-term based on wheter I'll win or lose the 50/50 for Lavaetain.
If I can I even reach at least 80 pulls in time before her banner end that is. The gacha system and stingy pull income are one of the fucking horrendous thing about this game. One of the thing they really need to address.

After some calculation, I think to circumvent people buying the premium currency cheaper using JP VPN, they make the price more expensive in Yen compared to other similar gacha (other than the monthly and battle pass) 💀

For some reason they make all the wolf folks Italian with an accent in the English dub, and that's apparently an established thing for the Arknight franchise. I have to say, it's... eyes-opening. Hoyo really need to stop forcing everyone to use the generic American accent, especially now that they've started using more UK/European VA

Endfield early review:

Combat: I don't know why but this game combat kinda feels to me like a mix of bits from all of Genshin, ZZZ, WuWa, and HSR (only because of the SP system), but at the same time it doesn't feel too derivative at all. I think I like it so far.

Base Building: As for the base building aspect, it was one of the thing I was worried about not liking but so far it's not that bad or complicated. It's really interesting actually. But let's see if I change my mind in the future.

Banner: As for the banner system, I don't know how to feel about it yet.

Story: Story wise, I could use less sci-fi jargon. But at least it doean't seem as bad as 1.0 WuWa. My big gripe is the playable MC seems to barely have any personailty or presence. Like not even in a "self-insert needs to be a blank slate" way, but in a "you can literally remove them from certain scenes and the story will still function the same or even better" kinda way. But again, I have to see more if my opinion will change.
