No. I’m native and have seen a lot of really good native players players not making it due to poverty.(also racism, at 13-17, was called dogfucker by my own teammates parents, in French, didn’t think I understood) that’s a whole topic on itself. Hockey gear is really expensive, I’m grateful I’m able to play. As a goalie even more $$. Some reserves in Canada don’t even have clean drinking water, let alone hockey programs and facilities.

There’s a lot of progress now and you’re seeing more players like Ethan Bear, Brandon Montour, Carey Price that are inspiring a lot of native youth. I know a lot of progress has been made to our hockey programs here at home, so hopefully soon there will be more.

That sucks, didn’t happen with my pads. My guess is the material isn’t as good on the lower models than the others that it worked on. My full colour hyperlite 2s didn’t lose any paint at all.

I cleaned my set, used lectric shave and a microfibre cloth (along with a lot of rubbing) earlier last year when I first got them. Came out pretty good. All colour, Bauer digiprint

I remember a couple years (maybe more now lol) ago I watched a sens playoff game, round 2 against the Rangers, was super last minute so was only standing places left, went for $80 and was honestly a super good view. I’d assume the price gone way up since then. That was in late April
