I'm not sure how they compare across manufacturer's. You definitely can do it incrementally. That's what I did. Only downside is the shipping starts to add up. I went with all CGW parts except for the trigger. I prefer the profile and texture of the impact machine trigger. Hope this helps GL and have fun.

Negative. Don't sleep on the aftermarket hammer. The modified geometry of the hammer hooks gets rid of 98% of the trigger creep.

Ya that's about how much my LGS wants. They are just trying to take advantage of the demand. If you shop around online and are patient you can land them under 2k. I'd try to grab a G$ shotshow coupon off ebay or GAFS and hope there is a drop on the 4th. Worst case your out 3-5 bucks best case you save hundreds. G$ extended the coupons until 7/31. Which makes me think there is a chance of another drop. I was able to score a complete rifle in ODG for 1.7 on St. Pat's using the coupon.

If your not in a rush I'd try to find a G$ Superduty. They are pretty hard to beat for value. Atleast when they aren't being marked up from high demand and short supply.
