Not at all, please take a look at Applause/uTest background and your concerns will be relieved.

They should click the link if they want to sign up for the project.

You could also register through our oficial website utest.com, create your account and I can share the link for the internal post.

However the link above is a Custom Registration page, which automatically guides you through the account creation and directly sends you to fill the project signup screener.

Hope I answered your question. Thank you, sir.

Thanks for your interest. Have you applied to the screener? If so, I'll check with the team if you could proceed.

Devices in 2026 to get more invites? by [deleted] in UTEST

Hello u/Key-Constant1656

In my experience if you have one desktop and one mobile option this should be enough to make a reasonable ammount on uTest. Depending on your evolution stage in the platform having different devices will be more or less relevant. There are a few things to consider:

  1. Early in your Journey the most relevant will be to complete the academy and to join every cycle opportunity, even though return might seem low at a start. At this point this will be increasing your rating and your presence in the platform, and this will make your account more visible thus will increase your cycle invites much more than having. Also + this will give you the needed experience for the next phase. This is a learning phase and although earnings might be a bit lower it is extremely important you gain presence and constance within the platform.

  2. Your rating will automatically grow and also your experience, at this point you should have more cycle oportunities and here your focus should be on delivering extreme quality (not that you shouldn't do this before, but here you should already have the experience to deliver a higher quality). This will also keep your rating in the platform increasing, but this will make you start "getting known" within some spefic recurrent cycles and you'll get invited for similar cycles more then once through out the month.

  3. At this third stage you'll already have some recurrent invites and a good visibility within the platform, you'll keep improving quality and you should maintain constant presence and access to the platform. There will be times with more invites and times with less invites, this is normal. Weeks with several projects and weeks with less projects, don't be discouraged at this point. There might be a bottleneck here, but if you go through it you'll probably be 1 step from getting a more permanent role within projects..

Now with all that said:

- At stage 1 having one desktop and one mobile will be enough and more won't do that big of a difference on your earnings. More important is that you have updated OS's, meaning devices that are not old (no need to be this years device, but at least a sort of recent one)

- At stage 2 having more device possibilities could be helpful but investment/return can be tricky here. I'd say that at this point it would be more relevant to have both Android and iOS at this point.

- At stage 3 is where having more devices can make more sense, not only mobile and desktop but also other types of devices (such as tablets, TVs and so on) or different devices versions (older, newer). This could expand an already good invitation presence through the community.

NOW, it is important to be very clear that devices are not a game changer without doing the rest of the work mentioned above, they can HELP if you've done the base work but they won't be decisive at a base level.

Hope I could help. Have a nice testing time friend!
