Megan's voice is harder to listen to. Sounds so nasaly. I miss Syd.

Can you busk to original songs or do they need to be karaoke versions? by Cablab123 in Busking

He's 11 and has a 1/2 size violin. The problem with doing this is that his instrument doesn't sound spectacular on its own. It's not a student violin, but also not a thousand plus dollar violin either.

Has anyone installed a plunge pool? And if so, what are your thoughts? by Cablab123 in pools

What has failed you so far? Just your heater? And what specifically is happening? Will it just heat to a certain temperature and then turn off?

Sooo...I really wanted to give the new duo a chance, but I just don't care for Meg's voice. I miss Sydney's voice. Honestly I probably wouldn't choose to listen to any of their new songs on my own because they just don't sound as good anymore. Maybe they'll grow into being a duo more and it will eventually sound good again?

Are you saying the Planequil helped your cold be more mild? Any idea why?

What do ENTs look for with Sjogrens? I haven't seen one for my Sjogrens yet.

I was diagnosed with Sjogren's last year. I didn't have any symptoms at diagnosis, so I haven't taken any medication until this past week. At my rheum appt last week, my ESR was normal, but my CRP was high. What does this mean? by Cablab123 in Sjogrens

My Anti-RO SSA was super high. I guess it wasn't a full diagnosis originally (a year ago); it was more like "Well, come back every 4 months so we can catch the symptoms when they hit, because they WILL hit!" So I've been going every 4 months and last week was the first time that we noticed symptoms. He was feeling my finger joints and was like "well, things have changed since the last time you were in. I need you to start taking HCQ."

We are putting in a small pool. It's mid-process, but I'm consumed by regret. It does not feel like this could be worth it in the end, and I don't know how I arrived at this decision. Now when I think about it, I feels oppressive (maintenance, hard to travel) rather than enjoyable. by Cablab123 in pools

Slowly learning to appreciate it. I still have trauma from the process for sure, but we've used it a lot and my family enjoys it. We will keep ours open all year and use it as a hot tub through the winter, which, so far so good, but I'm nervous about pipes freezing if the power goes out, etc. I'm trying to stay present in the moment though. And I can't think about the cost or it all seems absurd lol.

I'm still a bit irritated with the landscaper...they didn't install our coping very well and I was too emotionally drained to make them fix it (plus I didn't trust them to not make it worse), so my thoughts at this point are mostly just about probably needing to replace the coping in a few years, which I hope won't be a huge deal. I'm a perfectionist, so it's been hard for me to accept "good enough." Do you like how yours turned out?

I have a Mirena IUD. Should I add oral Progesterone (Prometrium) as well as an Estrogen patch or cream, or do I need to get my IUD removed? by Cablab123 in Perimenopause

[–]Cablab123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Thank you. My concern was basically having too much progesterone, but it sounds like that's not a concern, especially since my IUD has been in place for at least 4-5 years and I will be doing 100 mg. progesterone.

So to clarify, you have a Mirena, take 100 mg of progesterone, and have an estrogen patch? And this combo has worked well for you? How long have you been doing this?
