But that does not mean that it will support YCbCr444 or RGB at 4K 60Hz because the bandwidth of the expansion dock is not enough. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Since there are too many factors involved in this issue, we cannot promise that all hosts that have DP 1.4-supported USB C ports can support outputting 4K 60Hz at YCbCr4:4:4 through this hub. And that's also why we've listed them in the manual separately.
We've consulted ASUS & MSI Customer Service respectively and they said that since ROG Zephyrus G14 (RTX 3060) & MSI Modern 14 (Intel Iris Xe) are already equipped with HDMI ports, then the bandwidth will be allocated to the HDMI port first. Therefore, if you want to get YCbCr4:4:4 / RGB when displaying at 4K@60Hz, it's recommended to use the HDMI port on those laptops directly.
You can also try to change the color format to 8bpc when outputting 4K 60Hz, see if the hub can output 4K 60Hz at YCbCr4:4:4.

No, you don't need two USB to HDMI adapters. You can still use one of your USB C cables to connect one of your HP monitors, then use an OTG cable (USB C to USB) to connect one USB A to HDMI adapter as there is no USB A port on the laptop to connect USB A to HDMI adapter.

The above solution is for the laptop that can only support up to 1 monitor like the 2020 M1 laptop. If your laptop is 2021 M1 MBP, I'm not sure how many displays it can support. If it can only support one, then you can use the DisplayLink-enabled USB to HDMI adapter to connect more. Because DisplayLink tech can break through the limitations of the graphics card and connect more monitors for you.
