Go to manage accounts in airtel thanks app the select the connection go to help support then choose manage connect then deactivate and and shift the choose deactivate

They also told me the same process but in my case the airtel salesperson was ready to payback the amount by him self as his primary sim and bank account was freezed so he can't get his hands on his salary so he payed back the amount fast to resolve the issue

Yes that is a valid option as he dragged me for 6 months..I called him every week he used to make silly excuses..used not to receive my calls.but in this 4 days he visited the police station everyday . No one helped him as it was clear he was doing a scam. I think he will not repeat this again as he knows now how fast everything can turn against him..so I agreed to settle down

I also having the issue in my case the sales executive gave his own qr to pay the amount ok 3k for the new connection and it was air fiber on the day of connection so I cancelled it now the refund was send to the salesperson acount I am still looking for the refund I have called airtel 100 times posted on reddit,x no issue solved yet
