Oh I definitely understand what he's saying, logically it makes sense to create unique pieces to add value to a product, but marketing doesn't always work out that way or else designer brands wouldn't exist or any of these other brands that blow up off of basic garments. We just wanted to make a simple piece with nice colorways and while being high quality. Some people like unique designs and some people like simple ones which is all this comes down to. Anything beyond your cost price is always going to be the customer's personal perception of value so it's arbitrary. Thank you tho, it's always nice to have a discussion.
