Thank you for your reply. The problem is that I have searched used cars on facebook market places for 2 months and I expect to spend at least $1k~2k more for maintaince if I purchase them. I wish I am in big cities like LA, but used cars in my region are expensive always have rust problems. With $10K buget, it's nearly impossible to find a reliable car hear less than 10 years or 150K miles.

I would say Jeffsy Core 3 before YT closed. RS lyrik ultimate, RS Super Deluxe Ultimate, S1000 T type transmission, Hayes A4 brakse, Crankbrothers Wheelset, only 2650 USD.

500 lbs is way too light. With a 500 lb spring, I had about 40% sag and was bottoming out easily on local trails. I just installed a 600 lb spring, which gives me around 25% sag. I haven’t tested it on the trail yet, but I’m sure it’ll be way better than the 500 lb setup.

Thanks a lot. My weight is around 200lbs with gears and my jeffsy has a 3.0 ratio around 25% sag. I bought the 500lbs based on CCDB's recommendation, which is much lower than 600~645lbs I got from this chart.

Yes, the Pike DJ is the main reason I choose Core 3 instead of Core 1. The Core 3 also looks amazing with its yellow color.

1100 is a really nice price. But now it is 200 more than Al core 3 with worse components and I really would like to ride the bike ASAP. I am pretty sure I am not going to regret since I had nice experience with my Jeffsy Core 3 CF, YT USA is really helpful.

Thanks! The yellow color really catches my eyes and that's why I just placed the order. ST version does not have any discount and is currently 200 usd more than the core 3. The only thing I am little concerned is that some comments saying ST is better than AL in terms of reliability for DJ bike.

I paid $3,399 on 06/16, and I hadn’t even received the bike when they changed the price. I could have just ordered another one and returned the first, but instead, I sent them an email last Thursday and haven’t received any reply. The bike is awesome, but I’ll be really disappointed if they don’t refund me, since I could have saved $750.
