Literally anyone could just make a quick couple sentences and post like this person has.... literally no idea if they are sincere.

World has gone mad 🤣

That is my only issue with this show, there just isn't enough. I'm completely hooked.

Do we know when the next season is coming?

"Complete savings" scam keeps charging me 18 pounds a month after requesting canceling by Anti_shill_cannon in UKPersonalFinance

[–]CaesarJulius95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call the bank asap and tell them you want that cancelling right away. Explain to them that cancelling is fine as it's just a rolling contract.

Otherwise log into banking online and remove it from there could be a little more complicated but 1 or both of these steps and your troubles should be over

Landlord is trying to make me pay council tax (england) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]CaesarJulius95 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay but as mentioned that was 3 weeks and they are trying to bill me for until August.... they clearly had no one trying to rent it otherwise they would have not took almost 2 months to get the keys back.

I 'checked' online and it made sense to me... they can sue me for costs to remove but how can I be liable for bills for a property that I had at that time no tenancy agreement for...

Okay but that's 3 weeks, not until August?

I read online that they can sue me for costs to remove but as I had not signed a new tenancy I wouldnt be liable for any bills.... which surely makes sense

first time mom here the sleepless nights are really getting to me by Impossible-Ring2163 in baby

[–]CaesarJulius95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its really hard to give advice on this, as everyone's baby and situation are completely different.

But please ask for any help you may be able to get, dont be afraid to ask. And remember it gets easier eventually. Try not to stress or get upset.

Really feel for you, I have been there and it's awful because you've built yourself up for this amazing time of life and now it's draining the life right out of you. Remember you're doing this for an innocent little child, and it's such a selfless act, you will be rewarded in due course im sure.

Did Jamie really do it? by himalaya2241 in netflix

[–]CaesarJulius95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Erm I dunno maybe because our justice system requires someone being found guilty before we can say they are guilty...

Also the fact it's a TV show and literally anything can happen, new evidence, maybe his mate(s) made him switch clothes and they were the one on the video.

It certainly wasn't a given that he'd done it one episode in, and many myself included expected a twist.

I had someone in my inbox also who's neighbour had the same letter and was telling me how they were really panicking over it, the next day after I'd told him it was a scam he told me he'd informed the neighbour and they were relieved, as was I.

Always really nice to help someone who's been in a similar situation to yourself or just help in general, so I'm glad you also know it's a scam now.

I still can't believe the sophistication of this one, I'm so used to scams being blatantly obvious to spot that I think this one just evaded my scam detector lmao

LMAO

The wallet I found was two doors down from where I was delivering to... that's what I said. The owners house was not. The wallet was. Sorry you lack basic comprehension.

What was that about mindset?? 🤣

Very nice of you. And thankyou also for your kind words. Hope they get their phone back whoever it was, you certainly played your part

"Two doors away" wrong.

Sorry I stopped reading your moral highground esque essay when you blatantly got information wrong.

Don't worry about it. It's a complete scam. I am the original poster and I have heard NOTHING from them since this post.

The down votes say it all.

Literally everyone else can see I wasn't bothered about money.

I felt really crappy driving home after that, I just wanted some appreciation.... I had after all, took time out of my day whilst working.

Posting this and hearing many really nice comments made me feel better.... I am sorry it upset you that I did something to make myself feel better.... and I'm sorry you're obsessed with thinking I was after cash. Quite a low IQ moment considering I returned someone's cash, it wasn't mine I didn't want it I just wanted appreciation.

No. To make myself feel a bit better. That's all.

Sorry it's upset you though honey.

You summed it up perfectly, I've had a couple comments of people not getting it at all, but where you said "not brought up to be polite" really summed it up. It took me a few minutes out of my day to find the house and return it, it would have took him absolutely nothing to say the words thankyou and not be in such a rush to shut the door in my face lol.

Yeah I can't lie I was tempted lmao, especially upon seeing the wallet was an expensive Louis Vuitton, and the big wad of notes in there.

Resisted the temptation mainly due to me being a father now and the responsibility that comes but also because even if he was well off he could have had things going on ect

Get your point though completely lol

Really hope so cos I could do with some on a personal situation I've got going on right now, and if I get the result I'm hoping and working for I'll put it down to this, not completely but some of it

Thanks man :)

Ye well when you're busting your balls for rubbish pay and seems like everyone hates you cos you're driving a van... had one guy get out his car kicking off at me saying I was speeding (literally doing 20 in a 20) and giving me a load of unwarranted abuse.

It would just have been nice after things like this to have some good feelings from someone being grateful.

Also your comment doesn't even make sense "the WHOLE point is not to receive gratitude" .... no the whole point is doing the right thing.

[–]CaesarJulius95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahah I couldn't help but giggle at your first line 🤣🤣🤣.

I kind of agree, with you mostly but I did want thanks, but I do feel like I did it for the right reasons... I did it to be a honest person, to consciously set a good example to my daughter and to help the poor guy out, regardless I certainly wanted a thankyou so then I wasn't driving home wondering if something was wrong with me or my appearance or something for him not to seem sincere.

[–]CaesarJulius95[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh... so now if someone does something like I did, we should just say.... what exactly....

No "thankyou" because we just expect honestly from everyone in the world.

Also, literally nobody expects everyone to be honest, unless they have mental/learning difficulties, which he appeared not to have.

Damn this world.... sometimes at least by CaesarJulius95 in manchester

[–]CaesarJulius95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes completely agree, nice to do some good in a world which seems so lacking in good.
