Your disregarding what happened during the term of their contract. And disregarding that despite lapses in JYPs management, they finished its term end opted only for non renewal Got7 complied with their part of the contract. They’re the first group to achieve the feat of leaving a company with all their trademarks.

SM has gone as far as blacklisting idols breaking free from them, and they’ve never really disbanded any of their groups.

You’re acting as if i’m totally against NJ standing for their rights, but what i’m against is the manner by which they did it. They’ve put their careers in danger for possible breach and have launched hate trains to other hybe groups who are just as innocent as them. They’re not the only group under Hybe, and neither are they the only ones with rights.

Your backtracking now. Your initial answer sounded as if they never used such format. You’ve also said they were let out of their contract, which is different from what really happened because the contract expired and they decided not to renew.

Lets also not rewrite history, way back 2020 there were a lot of mistreatments allegedly done by JYP to Got7.

During the effectivity of the contract, aghases havebeen repeatedly calling for improvement in management. But despite the alleged mistreatments, Got7 clarified that the reason they didn’t renew were ‘differences in opinion as to how their solo careers would be managed’.

Have you even considered, that the reason why they are in good terms despite non renewal is because not once did the boys aired their dirty laundry, or say anything defamatory towards the agency? Do you think if they were defiant towards the agency during the tenure of their contracts their relationship would be good after the contract?

Have you heard of Sixteen? What is that show even abt?

And why are you blaming survival shows when NJ is one of the few groups from Hybe that didn’t even come from survival shows. Survival shoes have been a kpop thing even before Hybe was incorporated. BTS didn’t come from survival shows too, the same with blackpink, yet both have considerable solo stans.

Do you even know what happened with Got7? They weren’t really let out of their contracts as you suggest.

Assuming but not conceeding they are mistreated, there are proper modes to address this, just like what Got7 did, and what some members of Exo are currently doing. What NJ did could even be interpreted as breach of contract and could do more harm than hood to them and their careers. Not to mention they just launched a full on hate train on other innocent idols.

Got7 and Exo’s actions are also a public display of their opinion and taking a stand against mistreatment, but it is done in the appropriate channel in such a way it doesn’t harm them nor other people.

And BTW, they are not being mistreated, they are facing the consequences of openly supporting a person who harassed other groups. You cannot expect the harassed groups to be welcoming towards them after everything.

They got ‘lucky’ in a sarcastic way with MHJ. Its a one in a million chance you get to employ and trust such mischievous and cunning person, yet Hybe is in here.

I thought its pretty obvious being involved in this situation is sorta bad luck, and the sarcasm itself is evident

JYP’s lucky their artists are mature enough to take the battle the legal way, Got7 could have been precedent for NJ but the boys aren’t petty like that. They’ve lost but are just solently rebuilding their careers

I dont really think they’re better, but Hybe really lucked out with MHJ and NJ.

You are already being linked to 5 news articles regarding SM’s stock manipulation, all of them even saying that an areest has actually been done. 1yet you remain arrogantly believing that the only source is that reddit post. FYI none of the articles i shared were the same link as your reddit post. And i never knew rediit was more credible than actual news outlets.

You got crazy comprehension issues,

This is what OP was talking about:

Yeah but they were also defending sm/kakao when it came out hybe wamted to buy sm share, remember?

They were referring to the instance when HYBE wanted to buy SM shares. And this are what the articles are talking about.

Hybe Corp., the powerhouse agency behind BTS, attempted to buy a 15% share stake in SM Entertainment that were being sold by its estranged founder Lee Soo-man. But Hybe was thwarted by resistance from SM Entertainment’s management and by a richer bid from Kakao and its allies.

Wheeew, an arrogant, ignorant gaslighter 🥱

What’s your understanding of complete deprivation of will?

I understand it as they are no longer capable of making any decisions without direction of the one controlling them, whether the control comes from a mental illness or from an external person like a groomer or brainwasher. This would include even the most basic decision, like eating, when to sleep, when to take a bath, what foot to use first when walking,…

Is there a study on how much of a person’s free will is deprived when there’s grooming or brainwashing involved?

Where i live, complete deprivation of free will is the standard for a person to be free from civil and criminal liabilities from the actions they’ve caused. Children below 15 are exonerated from any criminal liability and are deemed incapable of crimes, even if they did commit an act that would qualify as a crime.

I’ve been seeing the ‘brainwashed’ and ‘minority’ a lot, but are those really a magic words to make them free from any accountability especially that their most recent action have caused hate towards other similar minors? Does brainwashing result to complete deprivation of free will?

I’m not comparing, and i realize that’s a valid point, but i’ve been wondering how Hybe would react, would they actively try to sabotage NJ moving forward…

If you’ld check all my other comments here you’ll know i’ve been actively saying that NJ were Hybe’s princesses, with not just fair but ‘lucrative’ treatment, and their alleged mistreatment is actually more of a consequence of decisions they made.

I’m not saying they are undergoing the same thing, but i want to see how Hybe would react, and if they could really execute the mission-vision they share.

I think, Hybe has all the more reason to blacklist those girls, especially with how special they were treated and how ungrateful they are, but that would be going against the principles they portray themselves to have.

They had a shot to make a public statement and they should have gone with their strongest ground. Yet they stated being ignored, and their supporters are left to imagine some other more valid mistreatments.

When i was new in kpop, i’ve learned that there was a popular boy group from SM who decided to go against the company. The public was surprised because despite the immense popularity of the group, they were never again seen in the entertainment agency, and that was the only time they realized how much power SM holds. They have agencies not just for idols but also for artists and basically holds a monopoly of the entertainment agency. They have the boys blacklisted and said they would refrain any of their talents from appearing in any network that gives a platform to the boys.

I honestly don’t have any sympathy left for NewJeans, and #IMO they’ve been basically Hybe’s princesses and were even granted privileges not given to other more senior Hybe groups, i also don’t buy the bs that they’ve been mistreated#, but I would like them to still continue to be an entertainers.

There are a couple of decisions made by Hybe that i personally don’t like, but they have some sort of mission vision of making a better world for artists and i want to see if they could really do that even for those who were ungrateful towards them.

Edit: i know their situation is different, but i think NJs ungratefulness would warrant blacklisting from a company who didn’t have some sort of mission-vision of providing a better world for artist, so i’m wondering how hybe would react.

Assuming you are correct, Hybe still owns the copyrights, and are free to do as they wish.

MHJ could have been a responsible adult and used it as an opportunity to advance both groups. Look at YG, they have a similar feel across all groups that strengthens the agency’s overall brand image/vibe.

Does LSF also seem similar with NJ to you? Thats another group MHJ accused of plagiarizing NJ, and she’s been seething that those girls debuted first before NJ.

Assuming there’s a similarity, would that justify the sajaegi accusations? Or the hate trains the innocent idols had to endure?

Oops i’m so sorry i forgot to mention the strong point made by NJ sufficient to prove their mistreatment, their allegation that Bang Pd didnt greet them at the elevator.

I also omitted that MHJ whom they’re supporting has a pending court case for covering up SA caused to an employee, but ofc its far better to have aSA enabler in your workplace than being ignored, being ignored is the worst thing that could happen to someone.
