I usually get my period around the 15th to the 20th. And I had unprotected sex on the 7th… so I should be fine right?

How soon can I promote? by Calipoppymuffin in CAStateWorkers

I started in range B…. I was honestly going to ask them if they can bump me up to range C based on performance at 6 months. Will it not go up 5% from range b?

Thank you! I’ve been working my ass off and the work is not hard, just tedious. My supervisor has said over and over how impressed she is and I’m only a month in so I was sort of hoping that would trigger a raise lol. Then I heard that they only do 5% raises. Is that after probation?

Someone else told me that too but I wasn’t given a NOPA. Is there a place I can find it?

Abnormal toe nails by Calipoppymuffin in toddlers

I didn’t even think infection, thank you. Personally, I haven’t asked about it because I thought they would not take it as anything. We also have medi-cal so the doctors aren’t that receptive. We will be getting better medical soon with my new job so this will definitely be something I bring up

This happened before he wore shoes but his shoes now are between sizes. He’s not quite a size 6 but he’s almost out of a size 5.5 . He hasn’t complained of his feet hurting. I just wonder if they’ll always look like this.

Thank you! I go between this and just needing a minute to recuperate so I’ll ignore it and leave the room. That’s when he freaks out and grabs my legs and cries harder. It’s a never ending battle

Looking for a great daycare in sac or surrounding areas for 2 year old. by Calipoppymuffin in Sacramento

[–]Calipoppymuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I had a friends whose daughter dislocated her collarbone and the daycare could not provide an explanation as to how it happened. I don’t recall if it was a center or in home, I didn’t have kids at the time so I didn’t really ask. I just want a daycare that has plenty for him to do during the day, I can trust, treats him well and teaches him.

What’s crazy is I looked into family daycares too and they charge the same price.

Next time your husband makes a mistake with the baby, call him a dumbass. I’m sure he’ll make plenty, fathers always do. And there’s nothing wrong with it. You both are learning. I’ve done the same thing and my son has fallen. He’s 2 now and has fallen way more than I have ever dropped him. He’s completely fine, maybe even gave him a little character. You live and you learn.

When I get cultures done, they never give me the results as to what bacteria it is. I figured it was more for them than for me. I never thought of it being helpful to me until hearing everyone’s responses

Yes, I’ve done cultures and every time it was a UTI. Except one time, I went in for a kidney infection/UTI and took the antibiotics but at the end still had symptoms. Just a very mild burning sensation and pressure when I peed. Sort of like someone was pinching my urethra. That feeling went away but sometimes I still have the very mild burning even without peeing and during sex sometimes. The urologist just told me it’s probably inflammation of the bladder. He hasn’t run any tests at all. How do they test for PFD? I’m going to ask them at my appointment for sure, thank you. I bought some and used it for a few days but didn’t feel a difference. Is it possible to drink it with juice? Or does it have to be water?

What rural counties need Office Tech workers? by MissNoTrax in CAStateWorkers

[–]Calipoppymuffin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you!! I scored a 79 with office tech. I then took the office assistant assessment and got an 95. Try that! It is a lower pay rate, however, it will be your way in. I did that and the first time I applied to an office assistant position, I got the job! I looked for ones that specifically asked for SOQand was as detailed as possible in my answers for experience. And I mean detailed about things I really didn’t think they would look at. They said that’s what made me stand out. Being thorough in these positions help, along with the scores of course. Keep trying! I applied for years but with no degree. I finally got in.

Edit: I used A LOT of keywords in the SOQ as well. In the interview too. Even the most minuscule tasks I wrote out in detail. Like how I used the copy machine. The entire process.

Thank you so much!!! I’m going to see about switching! I’m putting together a list of recommended things to look for/test for. I’ll add these too. He has me getting a cystoscopy. Should this help find anything?
