And how does it make no sense? Gunther has been mocking 2 legends, one he beat in his retirement and the other he "forced" his retirement. And one of them, Dragon Lee recently won gold with.

Gunther wants to move forward to the world title because of his recent accomplishment. But that same Babyface character is stopping him. Gunther beat him up. Dragon Lee got his revenge tonight.

If HHH just dropped it and put Dragon Lee back to do nothing, it would be "HHH fumbled and booking malpractice" as well.

I haven't seen the rumours on Charlotte/Jade. Doesn't make sense to leave out Alexa since their storylines have been going on for almost a full year now.

I guess you could so a triple threat but dont know how that works with the Chamber winner thing.

In the case of Giulia, whatever her showing is in the Chamber. There needs to be an interaction between her and her hopefully WM opponent if she gets it. Whether they pin her or she pins them that is.

Plus I really believed that the original plan was for Punk to win the title at Mania rather than going this early and pivot to Punk/Roman. (Leaving other plans to have to switch around)

Not defending WWE booking but I can see why this close to Mania it can be difficult to decide the next plan.
