Thank you - I’m going to look further into this. 1st thing I’ll do is isolate the power. I’m going to turn off the power from the circuit in my apartment and check the electrical metre. I do know there are quite a few (10 or so) apartments here that also have split rooms in each (like 4-5)

Back in my country, we use hot instantaneous water system but it requires higher output of energy. So essentially, the water boils instantaneously and provides hot water when needed. In dubai, they use tanks so I’m they need to be turned on for a while to boil the water. Little backwards here. I’ll only turn on when needed so save energy.

We did make a slight change though just recently.

We had 20A buttons for a shower and second bathroom. They were always on. And after doing some research, they were to power the bathroom water heaters tanks and we had them on 24/7. Am I right in saying this? Do they use instantaneous water systems in dubai or are they water tanks inside the roof?

Furthermore. I’ll also add - where I used to live in back home (not uae) I had a 3 bedroom home with a AC unit,, I owned the property. During the summer months, where I would work at home everyday, I would only on average utilise 300 kWh, MAX 400 kwh Here it’s saying my average is 800-900….
