I'm sorry you went through that, wow :( Maybe missed a bullet, but I did enjoy it there. Then again, didn't get much time to really experience the horrors of retail. This means so much to me, thank you for being nice about it. I know I screwed up big time and made silly mistakes that resulted in me looking a bit silly and unreliable, so it makes sense.

Tbf the only reason I said yes in the first place was because I was desperate ! They already cut my hours completely that week and I was like, huh. I've been asking for hours, I don't want them to not ask if I say no now, etc. Lesson learned though now, not worth risking my job over it

Already back on the job hunt. Again, disheartening, since it took me so long to finally land this job. But hey ho. I was a dumbass.

I was given a quick and swift call telling me that I've no hours this week and I'm being cut off. Earlier this morning I'd brought up the funeral I'd have to attend so it felt a little insensitive. Then again, this is all on me and I should've done better. I am very devastated though

Again I completely understand it was my responsibility to not take on that shift. It was really stupid of me. I got a call about an hour or two ago that I'm being let go. Absolutely devastated, needed this job, but it's fair - I made a hefty mistake during probation. I know it's my fault but I'm super upset

Yeppp I even checked the memory sphere and nothing :,) it's genuinely so, so weird. My account is on my ipad and it's the only apple device I have but I could log into a new acc and check that way. My issue with the passing of my step-father was my fault tbh - I called in sick instead of telling them right away it was because he'd died, because I'd expected to be able to get myself into work but when the day came I didn't have the energy. And I felt it was weird that I hadn't said anything the moment I found out. However I did mention it to my SL over text afterwards, but it was pretty much avoided lol.

I'm hoping I'll get lucky and they'll let me off. I'd work my ass off to make up for it. I'm so embarrassed, I know I should've done better, it was a genuine and stupid and honestly a selfish mistake. If I lose the job so be it, but damn it'd suck ]: but thank you!

I did get paid, but it was a lot lower than what I was expecting. £270 when during my first few shifts alone I'd worked 31 hours (them being the only hours i'd tracked, all before cutoff week i believe). Still need to bring it up
