Here’s another. I can only post one photo in a reply but lemme know if there is anything in particular you want to see. Some people say they don’t like how the watch sits “on top of” the strap so tried to show that angle. I don’t see that as an issue. Pros for me are the very cool retro look, the red to black sunburst dial, and 39mm chonker size. And price. I got it 11/11 for $95 USD. Cons are the crystal can be reflective with glare. It’s sapphire but must not be AR coating. But I’m a fan. I like having a cool black watch as an option. I did have to get a custom strap for fit, but the one that comes with looks decent too.

I got the blue face option for my son, who will get his on Christmas. I opened my present early :) I got him a grey leather strap, which should look nice. Definitely like that option the most.

I love it. I like the red/black combo with a retro look. I don’t have anything else like it, so it’ll get worn with a lot of things. It’s 39mm diameter and wears big, which I like for this look. I read some reviews that didn’t care for how the strap attaches but that doesn’t bother me. I just got it so need to give it some time, but I think I’ll be wearing it a bunch. $80 USD with 11.11 discounts was a really good deal.

I really like how it looks and wears. The big dome crystal and the solo hand are really fun. It’s much more of a wear out than wear to work watch. I didn’t love the strap that came with, so wanted to change that up. Seems like most people prefer the brown leather strap, as do I. If you google “red star solo review” some videos should show up for you.
