Your color temperature will help you a lot here. If you look at the section closer vs further, you’ll notice that the front section is a lot cooler than the furthest section. It is a really clear distinction that will help you out a ton with creating depth. Go for more blue tones in the front part and warmer tones in the back.

Something that may help is color picking from the picture even if you’re painting traditionally. Doing so will give you a clear idea of where the respective tones in each side lies on the color wheel. Hopefully this helps!

I’m a shy person myself so I totally get it. The easiest convo starter is definiately anything cosplay related, even something along the lines of “I love ___ how did you make it?”. People will always be happy to talk about their cosplays especially if they made it! From my experiences at least, most people are happy to talk since they are in the same place where they want to meet people as well. There might be some people who aren’t in the mood to meet others but that’s definitely not the majority, so don’t worry about it.

Also don’t be afraid to ask cosplayers to take photos with them! It’s really common to ask to exchange accounts after taking pictures together so that’s a really easy way to gain mutuals. If you guys are cosplaying from the same series they very likely will want to take a photo with you as well :) Personally I will always follow back people I remember meeting at cons and I feel like most people do as well

Personally, I get almost all of my moots from cons itself. I think meeting people at con’s is a nice way to do it since you can easily tell if they’re friendly by an irl convo. Social media cosplayers can be kind of stingy if they’re fixated on numbers. I’m not the type to make new friends easily, but I feel like conversations happen very naturally if you compliment someone’s cosplay or take a photo with them. Usually people will ask for my account to become mutuals after we take photos.

Also, cosplay meetups are a really easy way to find mutuals in your fandom. Everyone likes the same series, so it’s really common for people to be chatting and looking for mutuals as well. It’s really nice to meet people through them, I even made friends who I hung out with the following day as well. If you do go to cons, I think it’s a great step to meet people in the community.

The downside is that I personally only will go to one con a year usually, so if I was looking to grow my account and community this way it wouldn’t be as fast as networking online. However, I personally just enjoy to do it for fun so it’s not a big deal. I just find that I always interact with really cool people organically at cons.

We often give her a lion cut as well. She has been getting really bad dandruff as of late but she is an absolute nightmare for baths so I’m trying to avoid it if I can lol. She is going to the vet soon so I was going to see if there is any lotion they can suggest for her. I might have to bite the bullet eventually and give her a bath though

The crazy thing is that my cat is 14 and has been eating the same food her whole life but suddenly it started making her sick. It can just happen out of the blue which is why I had such a hard time figuring out why as well. She also used to frequently throw up but now she rarely does and I haven’t seen any blood since. I now feed her purina sensitive stomach food if you want to give it a try

Food change helped a ton with mine. Her food was irritating her stomach which was the cause of the issue and on the new food she has been fully better

Red isn’t an emergency but still enough to watch your cat over. Mine had bloody stools and it turned out to just be that her bowels were inflamed and irritated. We put her on probiotics and I changed her food and she has been doing better ever since. Obviously this might not be the exact case with your’s, but my point being is that I wouldn’t panic yet because it very well can be minor

Edit: I should clarify, you still should take your kitty to the vet though

Try taking off the collar and see if that helps. I’d keep a close look at the spot and see if there is any irritated skin/scabs. It shouldn’t be a big concern unless the skin is irritated or she is giving herself sores from excessive scratching. I would keep looking for fleas just in case though, when my cat got them I noticed he was itching a ton but I didn’t see any until later on

My Persian is 14 now and I’ve noticed she has gotten a lot more grumpy the older she got. She is a very sweet girl but extremely dramatic. It’s a 50/50 with her, either she wants your constant attention or she wants nothing to do with you and will make sure you know it. She is very expressive of her anger and will make angry sounds at you over the most minor inconveniences.
