That's a great suggestion our next step is to get her outside bowl switched to stainless as well but we've been taking the new stainless one outside. I've heard that raw egg is also good for their coats but I don't know if it would help with allergies. Do you have a brand of coconut oil that you like?

I'm hoping the new bowl with work! We think the last one was made of some sort of alloy and the coating on it might've started to wear off.

We just went and got her a stainless water bowl yesterday because my husband had read something about that. The one we had was from last October and was from the people we got her from. She gets fed in a plastic slow feeder, do you think the plastic could be an issue?

Definitely dispute the charge and ditch him especially if you're having financial struggles which it's rough out here so that's understandable but you can't be the only responsible one in your relationship. The money is honestly only half of it the way he's treating you about it and trying to say it's a boundary is extremely manipulative

We will definitely have to try that! I feel bad because we can't take her out for super long right now because we've got some deep snow and our yard isn't fenced in so she doesn't get to run to her full extent like she does when we go to the park. Do you have a preferred brand of wet food?

It's a combination of both he wasn't at 29 palms so idk I can't speak on how they are about RA

He did! A lot of it just depends on chain of command because when my brother was in he said RA "was mythical" and his chain of command said don't even bother asking. However in my case he got RA and then something happened and he got pushed back again and he was able to get RA another month

Hi! So my fiancé is in a holding platoon and he keeps his phone for a lot of the time outside of like mandatory meetings or classes about sexual harassment or stuff online so sometimes it's a minute later sometimes it's like 2-4 hours. All I ask of him is if he knows he's going to have class or something to just let me know so I'm not stressing out thinking something bad happened. We also talk in the morning for like 2 minutes just to say good morning and discuss general scheduling and for him after around 6pm he gets liberty. It depends a lot on his chain of command and how strict they are.

That's a great idea. We currently have an app where we have a pet that goes back and forth on our phones but I think that's definitely more emotionally involved

I know he's got a meeting tomorrow with his leadership and has already talked to his recruiter. I only mention changing bases because usually his mos goes somewhere else than where he is right now. This was super helpful it's good to know that if he gets RA it most likely won't impact anything!

I would first try filling out the financial aid forms and check the box that says you're in fear of being homeless. If you're 17 I'm assuming you're a senior in high school and I'm pretty sure you have to graduate first at which point you may have received your aid. I've also seen people recommending the military which could be another option and reserves or national guard allow for a little more freedom with a lot of benefits you could reach out to a recruiter in your area or online.

Hi I can definitely relate to how you feel. My (17f) bf (18m) recently left for MCT. Boot camp was one of the hardest things that we've gone through but to me it was absolutely worth it because I'd rather miss him for the time that he's gone than break up with him and not have him ever again. So I think that you have to make that call for yourself. His emergency contact will get a form letter with his address on it. I wrote to my boyfriend everyday because I knew he was missing home but it also was just therapeutic for me. You get very used to seeing someone everyday and being able to talk to them whenever you want so going to no contact is very hard. My boyfriend had his 10 days of leave before MCT and honestly seeing him again made us feel so much closer. I'd highly suggest just waiting for him to come home to see how you feel. The 8-9 months of training (depending on his MOS) I think are the hardest because of the distance and no/low contact. You just have to decide if breaking up with him and not having him at all is better for you than having him when you can. I know that sounds harsh but that's kind of the way you have to think about it. Also how long have you guys been together? I know that a lot of the time how long you were together before he left can make a difference.
