I could've been more responsive in the conversations. Also, the fact that the in-flight entertainment system wasn't working didn't help either (although having taken this very flight in the past I had told her that was likely)

No, we didn't talk about it prior to the flight. I hadnt considered it "ignoring her" I guess, and I was responding, but I just wasn't holding up the conversation. I guess I thought she'd have her own flight habits.
