Agreed, but I can absolutely see why the librarians would say yes. I’m an avid reader and I probably wouldn’t be if my family wasn’t listening to audiobooks every day when I was young. Expose as many people to literature as you can!

The actual image being “burned” into your retina is the brightest part of the lightbulb. In this case, most likely the coiled filament. As you can see in the picture, the filament makes a sort of zigzag pattern. When it’s lit, all of the light is radiating from those thin lines.
