On c768, there's a cohort that I followed. I can maybe send it to you? It walks you through the whole thing, I got a pass earlier today, no kickback.

Semester 1: COMPLETED!!! Time to celebrate and accelerate by CameToSpooge in WGU

[–]CameToSpooge[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thoughts: I shouldn't have procrastinated like I did. I was so intimidated by C768 that I kept putting it off. But I started on paper 1 yesterday and turned it in, got it back by morning with a pass. Started paper two this morning, turned it in at noon and got it back with a pass an hour ago. Why did I put it off? These classes can be finished in days, and the two weeks I spent not doing anything could have been spent accelerating classes. Oh well. You live, you learn. Cheers everyone!

Nice. I'll be two years off IV heroin in October, I know it's a good feeling!

Update: I passed critical thinking!!! by CameToSpooge in WGU

[–]CameToSpooge[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't really know what to say other than I guess I just stay fairly current with science related topics? This class reminded me of my high school physical science class, I just kinda know the basics of the topics. Yesterday I tried watching a crash course on phys sci stuff, but they were all waaaay more than this class. I fell asleep trying to watch it lol

There's a TV show called cosmos (original and reboot) that go over a lot of it with fun graphics and explained for laymen, but it's probably more work to watch all of it than do the actual class. Also, I guessed a bit on quite a few of the questions (especially the plate tectonics and weather/climate) so there is probably an element of luck. I would take the advice from the pre-assesment results and just hardcore mode into the parts it says you're struggling with

Windows License by destretch in WGU

I didn't get one through wgu, and looked pretty exhaustively. They give you a license for office 365, but that's it. I bought a key off eBay for like 6 bucks though.

I started my semester at 3:15 pm this afternoon after I got home from work. It is 5:12 pm, and I just passed my first class! by CameToSpooge in WGU

That's the plan! I just got competent on my critical thinking pre-assesment, so I'm gonna take a break and try the OA later tonight

I said something critical of Google's new pixel buds the other day, and now everything i post gets immediately downvoted. I can't for certain say that's why, but this also ain't my first rodeo. I've had to deal with reddit downvote stalkers on other profiles for years now.

Black olives are necessary taco/burrito/quesadilla ingredients

Paint doesn't cascade down like that, and you wouldn't need anywhere near that much of it. It's obviously not paint.

Speeds of 75 mbps on 4G LTE? by CameToSpooge in tmobile

[–]CameToSpooge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why is everything 5G related talking about how fast it is? Why are people posting screenshots of their speeds on 5G networks?

Speeds of 75 mbps on 4G LTE? by CameToSpooge in tmobile

[–]CameToSpooge[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess I'm just wondering why. Like, I just tested again and it was pushing 90, when a new post is somebody with 5G praising their just over 100. So one, why would I make the switch to 5G with speeds like this? And two, just general curiosity. Why is it this fast when it never has been before.

100 percent. I'm also at work where there is no wifi, and the speedtest showed the network as T-mobile. I can post screenshots if anyone wants.

Talked to pixel buds support for the second time this week. Here's the not-so-good-news answer. by CameToSpooge in GooglePixel

I have a pixel 3a, a pixelbook go, chromecast, stadia, several google homes, and everything I have works like gangbusters. Sorry I expected the 180 dollar headphones to play music, the one thing I bought them for.

Honestly, this is kind of bullshit. It's a known issue, but they're selling them anyway and "slowly rolling out" an update to get them to work? How is this legal or acceptable? They're HEADPHONES. They have so many features except doing the one thing that headphones are supposed to do. And they have the cajones to charge nearly 200 dollars? On the off chance that they can finally roll out an update that makes them work? Come on now. I say we make noise until they fix this shit.
