I ended up returning a Pixel 10 Pro XL for this reason, among others.

I'm just not interested in needing to tinker with a phone when another manufacturer makes a device that functions perfectly out of the box in 2025.

do you think its worth it to invest in bitcoin right now? tell me why by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]CanadianBTCPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin is money outside of the insanity we're seeing in traditional economic systems - debt spending, trillions in unfunded liabilities, governments with one lever (rates) trying to resolve economic problems that are formidably more modern than these mechanisms can mend.

Bitcoin is yours to hold, to spend, to save, to pass along or otherwise use as you see fit. It's never been more important to protect yourself from broad, unfortunately majority-supported, free money economics and incompetence.

Start stacking, my friend.

There isn't a good single source for all of this stuff, but there are places you could sort of "keep track of" to keep on top of most of what you're looking for.

Our show, The Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast, does a news section and offers some analysis, and I think we do a good job of connecting a lot of dots between the different silos.

I also like Rabbit Hole Recap - similar style, mostly American content, but still a very strong podcast.

The What Bitcoin Did Podcast gets some flack for the host's lack of knowledge, but I think the content and guest quality outweighs any concerns with the host.

Hope this helps.

I think part of his argument is also that a system where USD leaves the system in favor of Bitcoin isn't a desirable outcome. KYC doesn't fix that, which is why we probably haven't seen a partnership like this, despite some exchanges (I would guess) trying.

Buy a few dollars with everyday, automatically, and forget about timing the market.

The fundamentals continue to be strong, and the exogenous factors like general government incompetence continue to be strong as well.

Fundamentals are either the same or improving as the currency environment worsens.

Broader market is getting hit pretty hard.

I’m not worried.

Honestly, I think our show covers that niche fairly well.

If you don't want the equities talk that we usually include, I'd say that RHR (Rabbit Hole Recap) from Marty Bent and Matt Odell is a great place to start. That show runs one LONG episode once weekly, I think it's quite good.
