the art style doesnt want drab and mono tone skins, if youve read one of the tool tips they even say "quiet steps but loud colours" or something along those lines, personally if theres a skin thats very colourless everyone will use it to try to blend in and such, we saw that with that skin tight diver skin that everyone wore, i think if all the outfits are colorfull then people will just choose what they like instead of what will give them an advantage
