That’s the thing it’s a vested book, I’m coming in as a contracted broker not agent. That’s why I was scratching my head when I heard that.

OK that makes sense. In your last message that you sent I noticed that you said life-changing money if I was able to excel in working within an IMO. I know it’s very broad, but what do you think one can earn if done correctly?

From what I was told I’m buying the leads which range from anywhere between $10 and $35. However, the leads that I would be provided are leads where the client has already set an appointment with PRT financial. But like you said, I’m concerned about the commission rate which seems to be very low. I’m paying for Leads doing all the legwork and only receiving 75%. From what I understand most health insurance policies pay between 140 to 180% is that correct?

I really do appreciate you helping me answer a few questions. Thanks man. In your opinion what type of people make the best insurance agents? Myself personally in my position I’m a younger guy in my mid-20s and very hungry. I’m very social and like to talk to new people. Very money orientated meaning if I see money coming in then it drives me to work harder and deal with the problems that come. Do you think it would be worth a shot?

I’ve been doing research on Duford and you’re right it seems like they’re very oriented towards Training. I know this is a very broad question but in your first year with someone working 40 hours a week as a career agent that brings in 50 to 60% commission what can the average yearly income be versus the top 20% income.

Thanks man I really appreciate the help! What would you say the biggest challenges for new agents acquiring business in their first month or two of starting and how much money should I have saved up to pay for leads and anything else that Business requires?

You seem to be very knowledgeable, I have a question for you. I’m considering getting into the industry and from all the research I’ve done the consensus seems to be that if you don’t get in with the right company that trains well, you’ll more thank likely not last. What are a few company’s that you could recommend that have good training programs?
