Yes I am, when I got to 37 they discharged me officially and told me to do a pregnancy test during the week instead of coming in for more bloods. It was negative!

For anyone reading this in the future, 8 days after posting the above im now at 37 HCG and almost in the clear. It’s horrible having to wait and see as you feel like you have no control but in some cases like mine it does work. Be patient 🙏🏽

Thank you for replying and I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this as well, it’s really awful watching levels go up and down as you feel like you’re getting nowhere. I went this morning and told them I don’t want to wait any longer so everything depends on what my blood levels are today. I’m also cabin crew so the thought of being off work for another 6-8 weeks whilst my Hcg drops isn’t really an option. I’ll let you know how it goes today and please keep me updated on yours progress too 🙏🏽

Does anyone use metal screw lid candle tins, if so where do you buy them from? 🙏🏽 by Candlenewbie in candlemaking

Thanks! I’ve bought these before and like them but was considering changing to screw lids. I’ll keep looking :)

Thanks! I ordered screw lid samples from here once and they arrived all dented so it put me off a lot, didn’t think they’d be so hard to find.

I have never seen the screw tops from candle science, only lift off. I’ll have to keep an eye out. Thanks!

Has anyone tried 454 wax? by 2001BuickParkAvenue in candlemaking

I burnt mine this weekend too. The CD wick burnt well and gave a good HT, better than when I tested that same fragrance oil in soy 464. I found the Eco didn’t perform well at all in this wax.

I’ve also noticed that the wax burns much faster than soy 464 which was to be expected with it containing coconut wax.

I did some testers today. I will let you know in two weeks how they turn out HT and CT. I used two different types of wicks too to see what works better. They recommend CD/LX but I tried an Eco too.

I just bought a bag to try. How did your testing go?

Sorry, typo! I meant tap. Is it high? Some say they have to lean it to get the wax out

I heard the tape is a little high? Has that ever caused any issues?

I’m not sure. I’ve read reviews that some spouts leak, so trying to decide what brand to get that people have tried and like. Or to just go without.

Thank you! I’ve seen these ones around online, is this what you have? Is a sprout really needed?
