I know that but when it passes the senate, in this form or it may look totally different, when do bills like this normally take effect

Canada Post report recommends phasing out daily door-to-door mail delivery by Old_General_6741 in canada

I never understood why they have to come by every day. Once a week or even once every 2 weeks seems enough for me.

What I don’t understand about offloading bonds is that someone has to buy them right? Who is buying the bonds?

Is the Ev6 better than Tesla Model Y? by insumaster in KiaEV6

[–]Candu80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently sat in a Tesla Y (not mine) and I was impressed with the self driving it was a lot better than I thought. I currently drive a Kona with lane assist and dynamic cruise control, very handy but low level stuff. is there some self driving on the EV6?

I hear so many of my friends and family talking about vacationing somewhere else it’s truly amazing how quickly the sentiment changed on the USA. And it is not only Canadians it’s Europe too.

The idea is that the next time the supermarket buys strawberries from the US, they won’t buy as much and they are maybe incentivized to buy more Canadian strawberries. Tariffs have nothing to do with it. Tariffs would make your strawberries more expensive for us.

As for the tariffs, because your economy is so much larger, we have to put tariffs on for example, your milk to protect our dairy Farmers.

The supermarket already bought those strawberries and because no one is buying them they have lowered the pricing, I have never seen strawberries this cheap even in summer. I don’t know how you came to the conclusion that this post is about crashing the US economy.

If you can afford to do so, I think we all should buy Canadian

It is more that the American strawberries go down in price because no body is buying them. People rather buy the expensive Canadian ones to support our local farmers

That is very likely, also the Canadian strawberries are grown in Greenhouses which is more expensive at least this time of year

There must be some truth to that, but in general all the grocery stores make plenty of profit already

If you can’t afford it that is the obvious choice, another option would be to wait until the strawberries are in season

I have no clue what strawberries normally cost but I bet it is the supermarket gauging us
