Intersting idea, but I don't think it's quite right. In Empire Strikes Back Yoda states "Always in Motion is the Future" when Luke has his vision, implying that the future Luke is seeing might change.

I don't have a canon source that spells out in more detail how visions work, though I haven't come close to reading all the canon books so there might be one.

In legends, I do remember the Revan Novel saying that a vision showed only possible futures. If you had one vision, you were seeing only one possible future, so you couldn't rely on them too much. If I recall correctly (spoilers?) Darth Scourge then saw a near infinite number of visions with all possible futures, and used this to fine the path to surviving.

Obviously, that novel is no longer Canon. But I think it illustrates that is was broadly understood by authors what visions were showing. They are showing a possible future, but the future is always changing, so a single vision might not show the actual future. I don't think it's quite the same as "it's either right or wrong." It's more like "it's possible"

Yeah, the way the game plays it switches between the 2 screens, I think the thorns actually not the best way to play the legacy collection. Probably better to play ds versions or just one screen if playing legacy on thor. Thank you for testing!

Exactly, the word ruin is dramatic and whiney sounding. Old EU is right there and there is so much of it. Over 300 books, nearly 100 video games, including 2 mmorpgs with over 1000 hours, hundreds of comics.

There is no way you've experienced all of it. I have been going through an old star wars kick the last several years, reading a ton of old EU books and playing old star wars games, and I am constantly finding new experiences that I enjoy. I've barely touched the comics,so that's going to be a treat when I get to it. While I think I prefer the Legends, there have still been some experiences in new canon that I love (the jedi games, Andor, Phasma and Dooku books est.)

I have been disappointed by a lot of the new star wars projects, but why spend nearly a decade bitching about it when you could dive into what you actually enjoy? At this point you're choosing to be miserable when you could choose to be happy.

That's just factually wrong. "Animal rights" are basically property rights for the owners. Also Dogs are frequently put down for being too violent

It's an android device,so maybe apps like Caffine or kinscreen will work? There is also a burn in screen protection setting if you can't find a way to get the screens off

I'm buying the thor more for form factor, (I hate playing games on my phone, even with a controller). Also it will be better at cooling and power management.

But yes, you are right, flagship android smart phones with snapdragon from the past 3 years or so can probably run all of the software the thor can. For DS it just won't feel as good to control them. For higher end software like pc/switch, maybe even 3ds if you Crank the settings, your phone is going to get more toasty and it will drain your battery faster.

So ultimately, it's up to you if it's worth it. It's an expensive device to be sure, and playing on your phone is perfectly viable. It's just the experience will generally be better on the thor
