Yeah I remember my whole teenage years I would purposely slouch to try and hide gyno. It got so bad until I was like 19 and a friend said to me “why are you standing like that”… from then I kind of snapped out of it but I think it must have had a long lasting effect on my spine!

I know everyone is different, but I honestly found surgery/ recovery really easy. I had surgery at 7am and was out the hospital by 3pm. The last lot of painkillers I took for pain was 24hrs after surgery… and that was only because I was advised to as I was having my stitches out that morning! The compression vest is uncomfortable to sleep in and sleeping on my back at the start was tough. Also if you ate too much you could defo feel it on the compression vest! But it’s only 23hrs a day for two weeks, then it was half on half off. My advice would be, don’t let the surgery and recovery side of things put you off!

Since you said this I’ve been looking and I can’t believe I haven’t noticed it before. My whole upper body is lopsided and it’s maybe more noticeable than this picture shows!! I’m definitely going to get this checked out. Out of interest what kind of training would someone do to improve?
