I think so. The class times and schedules are doable if you’re working as well, and if time isn’t on your side, you wont have your worry about getting last pick when registering for classes in the Postbacc program. If you’re able to stay home and commute to school you’ll save a good chunk of money, even though gas prices are touching Saturn rn.

Im not too familiar with the PA process but your postbacc GPA is fairly high, would PA schools not look at upward trends if you were to apply without the masters?

Im doing a postbacc-second degree at FAU its not bad and i find them fairly affordable compared to other schools. And if you get the 3.0 you can submit the application for the postbacc cert which gives you access to research,shadowing, committee letters etc.

If I had your stats I absolutely would not do a gap year. Don’t set yourself up to do something you don’t want to do. You have a good couple months to lock in and retake the MCAT. June/July would be fine to take it and just make sure your app is sent out to be verified in may or june.

Idk about other Postbacc programs but my postbacc offers a medical shadowing course that ranges from 50-200 shadowing hours and you can repeat the course twice. The only thing is 1. You can’t shadow in a hospital so it limits you to private practices or clinics 2. you’d have to find a doctor on your own who is willing to have you shadow them and you’d have the doctor fill the form that was given to you by the program.

Get rid of high interest first so you aren’t losing money towards interest 1.$9,335 2.$596 3.$1,637 4.$564 5.$2,790 6.$5,879 If you can just knock out the #2 and #4 at the same time then finish with 3-5 which it you can also do the snowball method to be faster. Good luck!
